Day 1a of the Monster stack drew more than 450 entries, and at least 23 of those players will move forward to Day 2. The second flight promises to be quite a bit bigger, with an expected field of well over 600.

The action for Day 1b kicks off at 11 AM on Wednesday, with entries open for 12 30-minute levels. That means the max late reg for 1b will come at about 6:15 PM, and after that, they play down to 5% of the field, or the end of Level 24, whichever comes first.

Day 1a got 457 entries for $150,500 in prizes, and 22 players made it through the day, one fewer than the expected 23. Kalyan Cheekuri is the 1a leader with nearly 2 million in his bag, and 5 others have at least a million chips.
