Event #6: $400 Seniors NLH Day 1 ($330 + $70)
| Date: | Oct 4, 10 AM |
| Blinds: | 30 Minutes |
| Starting Stack: | 20k |
| Late Entry: | 8 Levels (Entries Close About 2:30 PM) |
| Day 1 Ends: | 10 Players, or the End of Level 23 |
It’s an early start for the 50-plus crowd on Sunday morning, with the Seniors game kicking off at 10 AM, the earliest start in the series. Players get 20k in chips for their $400, and blinds are 20 minutes long throughout the game.
Entries are open for the first 8 levels of play, meaning the desk will close about 2:30 PM. After that, Day 1 plays until the field gets down to the 10-handed final table, or the end of Level 23, whichever comes first. If the game goes to Level 23, the bags will come out about 10:30 PM, depending on bubble length. Day 2 resumes at 10 AM on Monday morning.
This game typically gets well over 500 entries, so expect it to be a pretty big field.

In January of this year, local player Trevor Simpson had the run of his life, getting through 539 entries for the biggest share of $168,977 in prizes, defeating Kevin Kemna heads-up for his first ring. Last October, the 519-entry field was topped by Angelo Gambrelis for the biggest share of $162,707 in prizes after defeating Wayne Gair heads-up.
