Again, there’s a lot happening now at King’s Resort that is worth to highlight. The €250 Sviten Special event is a tournament that is appealing to many Mixed Games lovers. Joakim Olin (on the above picture) is one of the Scandinavians currently in the mix, and the founding father of The Festival, Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk, is another one. We had a quick chat with Franke about the game that is Sviten Special.
“Sviten Special was invented by Anders “Bengan” Bengtsson,” Franke tells us. “At The Festival, we have a Mixed Games Main Event, the €550 H.O.R.S.E.S, which is H.O.R.S.E, but with Sviten Special added as a sixth game.”
There is another Mixed Game that reminds of Sviten Special, called Drawmaha. The difference is that in Drawmaha, there is no “one open discard feature” and you also burn a card in Drawmaha.
If you’re interested in how Sviten Special is played, The Festival has shared a tutorial where they walk through the rules. It can be watched on The Festival’s FaceBook page.
