If you hear rumbling in the hills, it’s the Monster coming to town. The Monster Stack kicks off with the opening flight on Oct 6 at 11 AM, and it will likely be the second-biggest field of the series, at least. With an extra flight this time around, however, it’s not out of the question for this game to beat even the Mini Main Event for total entries.
Players get 40k to play 30-minute levels on Day 1, and they can buy 40k anytime in the first 12 levels of play. With breaks included, that should mean the last chance to buy in is at 6:15 PM, immediately after the dinner break. After that, they play 12 more levels at most, but could bag early if they get to 5% of the field before then.

This past January, Allen Shen won nearly $80k for his win in the Monster Stack. They got 1,656 entries for total prizes of $536,036. Last October, Corey Arsenault took down a crazy heads-up match over Anthony Casten to get the Monster ring, with a field of 1,203 and prizes of $377,141.
