After a couple of levels getting from 18 down to 16, it took just a single hand on the bubble to end it. Nu Teliani was in the small blind, looked at one card, saw the 10♥ and shoved. Cam Stewart was on the big blind, and he looked down at an ace, and also called without looking at his second card.
Both players missed the board with their known cards. Stewart showed a queen behind, but Teliani had a deuce behind, and her Doyle found a deuce on the flop for the win. She had Stewart outstacked by about 20k, and Day 1a is now over.
