The side game on opening day alternates between two & four cards. Odd-numbered levels are played NLHE style, while even-numbered levels are PLO hands.
The action begins at 3 PM, and players have 10 25-minute levels to buy 25k stacks. That should mean the last chance to enter is about 7:40 PM, after which they’ll play down to the ring, with the game expected to run pretty late. Players should expect to be playing well past 3 AM if they go deep in this one.
At the start of the year, Mehmet Siginc found his way to his second Circuit ring in this one, taking down Nicholas Lee and a field of 201 ($103,865 in total prizes). Last October, Praba Siva managed an unlikely feat when he won his second NLH/PLO Ring in 2025, sweeping both the Jan 2025 & Oct 2025 two/four card mix games. His Oct victory came over Andy Truong and a field of 183 entries ($94,245 in total prizes).
