Mike Leah picked up his third career WSOP bracelet on Monday by winning the 2026 WSOP Online Event #5, a $600 No-Limit Hold’em Ultra Stack on GGPoker. The Canadian from Innisfil, Ontario, topped a 535-entry field to collect $47,007 and a gold bracelet, then went right back to work and nearly made it two in the same session.

Leah Called His Shot on Twitter Before the Final Table Started
The bracelet wasn’t a surprise to anyone following Leah on social media. Going into the final table as chip leader with 153 big blinds, he posted his intentions plainly on X.
He was right. The $600 buy-in Ultra Stack NLH is a 2-day format on GGPoker, with Day 1 kicking off September 27 and the final table completing September 28. The event drew 535 entries against a $300,000 guarantee, generating a $304,950 prize pool. Leah navigated the final table from the front and closed it out for $47,007, a WSOP Gold Bracelet, and a WSOP Paradise package ($5,000 value): entry into a Circuit Championship event plus hotel accommodations at Baha Mar in the Bahamas for the international WSOP Paradise festival in December.

He Almost Won Two Bracelets the Same Day
The story does not end with the win. Hours after locking up bracelet number three, Leah was deep in Event #6, the $400 PLOSSUS Bounty (PLO, 6-max), when that final table also formed. He was in contention for a second bracelet on the same calendar day, something almost no one has ever done.
He didn’t finish the job in the PLO event, coming agonizingly close but falling short of another bracelet. But the run itself, two separate bracelet final tables on the same day after being chip leader in both, is the kind of session that gets talked about.
Who Is Mike Leah?
Leah is one of Canada’s most decorated tournament players. He made his name online before hitting the live felts, with his X handle coming from his old-school online “GoLeafsGoEh” screen name.
His success online translated to live play. He won his first WSOP bracelet at the 2014 WSOP Asia-Pacific High Roller in Melbourne, a $5,000 event he won for AU$342,800. His second came at the 2026 WSOP Europe in Prague, where he topped a 647-entry field in the €2,750 Rounder Cup (Europe vs. Rest of World) to collect €292,000 in April. The online win makes it three, across live and online formats, across three different continents, with two coming this calendar year.
He plays a full schedule of live events in Canada and internationally, splitting his time when he’s not grinding online. His Hendon Mob profile puts his career live earnings above $4 million, and the Prague result alone moved him significantly up Canada’s all-time money list. The GGPoker score adds to that online.
What sets Leah apart from most of his bracelet-winning peers is that his three come from entirely different formats and eras: a live High Roller in 2014, a live mid-stakes international event in 2026, and an online no-limit freezeout in the same year. That range is not common.
