The Full Breakdown Every WSOP Circuit Malta Ring Event (Sept. 25 – Oct. 5)

2026 WSOP Circuit Malta Banner

The WSOP Circuit Malta runs September 25 to October 5, 2026 at Casino Malta in St. Julian’s, and it brings twelve gold ring events across eleven days, with buy-ins from €300 to €2,500 and a $5,000 WSOP Paradise package for every ring winner. The editorial team at poker.pro has broken down every ring event on the schedule, covering structures, start times, formats, and the live and online satellite routes into each one. Whether you are planning to play the full festival or targeting one specific event, this is everything you need to know.

How to Qualify Online: GGPoker Satellites

GGPoker is the exclusive online satellite partner for the WSOP Circuit Malta. Qualifiers for the €1,500 Main Event launched on August 10 and run daily, giving players of every bankroll a route in. The satellite ladder starts with freerolls, steps up through real-money satellites from €5, and culminates in weekly €150 WSOP Malta Super Satellites that award €1,500 Main Event seats directly. To enter, open the GGPoker client, head to the satellites tab, and search for WSOP Malta. The GGPoker partnership covers the Main Event specifically. Live satellites for select ring events run on the ground at Casino Malta throughout the festival. Times and buy-ins are in the full schedule below.

Event #1: €300 NLH Mini Main Event

Buy-in: €300 | Starting chips: 30,000 | Format: Unlimited re-entry | Late registration: End of Level 10

The festival opener and the most accessible ring event on the schedule. Four flights run across the opening weekend, with the Final Day on Sunday, September 27. Flights A and C run 30-minute levels; Flights B and D run 20-minute levels, giving players a turbo option on both evenings. At €300 with unlimited re-entry, this is the event for players who want a ring and a low-cost entry point into the festival. The Mini Main will almost certainly produce the largest combined field of any non-Colossus event on the schedule, given its price point and the volume of opening weekend traffic.

Event #2: €550 NLH Seniors (Ages 50+)

Buy-in: €550 | Starting chips: 50,000 | Clock: 40-minute levels | Format: Unlimited re-entry | Late registration: End of Level 12

Sunday, September 27, at 12:30. The Seniors Event is open to players aged 50 and above and is one of the most consistently popular formats on the WSOP Circuit. The 50,000 starting stack with 40-minute levels gives this one a deep, unhurried structure suited to players who want to play real poker without the chaos of turbo formats. At €550 it sits in the middle of the schedule’s price range and tends to produce characterful, experienced final tables. Malta’s year-round resident poker community skews toward experienced players, so the Seniors field here could be genuinely competitive.

Event #3: €550 NLH Mystery Bounty

Buy-in: €550 | Starting chips: 40,000 | Format: Unlimited re-entry | Late registration: End of Level 11

Three flights across three days, with the Final Day on Tuesday, September 29. The Mystery Bounty is the most entertaining format in live poker right now and it is exactly what the name suggests: every player carries a sealed envelope with a bounty value inside, ranging from small amounts to potentially life-changing prizes, and you find out what it is worth only when you knock someone out. The format has produced some of the biggest fields and most memorable moments on the WSOP Circuit in recent years. Three flights give players three bites at getting through to the Final Day, with the turbo evening option on Monday for anyone arriving late.

Event #4: €300 NLH Colossus

Buy-in: €300 | Starting chips: 30,000 | Clock: 20-minute levels | Format: Unlimited re-entry | Late registration: End of Level 10

Six flights. Six. The Colossus is the single most ambitious event on the schedule and the one most likely to produce the largest field of the entire festival. All flights run 20-minute levels, the quickest format on the schedule, designed to maximize entries across the full festival window. At €300 with unlimited re-entry and six chances to bag chips, any player who shows up at any point during the eleven-day festival can take a shot at a ring. The Final Day could be one of the largest single poker gatherings Malta has ever seen.

Event #5: €300 NLH Ladies Event

Buy-in: €300 | Starting chips: 50,000 | Clock: 40-minute levels | Format: Unlimited re-entry | Late registration: End of Level 12

Monday, September 28, at 13:00. The Ladies Event carries the deepest structure relative to its buy-in of any event on the schedule: 50,000 starting chips, 40-minute levels, and late registration through Level 12 at €300. This is not a token format. The WSOP Circuit Ladies Event has a strong history of producing competitive poker and giving women players a dedicated ring event with a structure that rewards skill. Malta’s poker community includes a significant contingent of women players year-round, particularly given the iGaming professional base on the island, and the first-ever WSOP Circuit Malta Ladies ring is something with genuine historical weight.

Event #6: €500 NLH Knockout

Buy-in: €500 | Starting chips: 30,000 | Clock: 30-minute levels | Format: Unlimited re-entry | Late registration: End of Level 10

Tuesday, September 29, at 12:00. The Knockout adds a bounty layer to the standard ring event format: a portion of every buy-in goes toward a bounty on each player’s head, paid immediately when you eliminate them. The result is a format that rewards aggression and running good on the felt, with bounty cash flowing into your pocket throughout the day rather than only at the end. At €500 it sits just below the €550 price point used for several other events on the schedule and fires on Tuesday, the busiest single day of the festival (also the day the High Roller and Colossus Flight B run), giving players with multiple events in mind the option to start early and take a shot before the bigger events fire.

Event #7: €2,500 NLH High Roller

Buy-in: €2,500 | Starting chips: 250,000 | Clock: 60-minute levels | Format: Unlimited re-entry | Late registration: End of Level 12

Tuesday, September 29, at 15:00. The High Roller is the top buy-in ring event on the schedule and the one that should draw the strongest single field of any event outside the Main Event. At €2,500 with 250,000 starting chips and 60-minute levels, this is structured for deep, serious play. Late registration extends through Level 12, giving players maximum flexibility for late entries and re-entries. The €2,500 price point is accessible enough to draw recreational high-rollers alongside the touring professionals who chase rings specifically, and at a first-ever stop in a new market the overlay potential in the High Roller could be significant before the field size is established.

Event #8: €1,500 NLH Main Event

Buy-in: €1,500 | Starting chips: 50,000 | Clock: 40-minute levels | Format: Unlimited re-entry | Late registration: End of Level 12 each starting day

The centerpiece of the entire festival. Four starting flights, with Day 2 on Saturday, October 3, and the Final Day on Sunday, October 4. Late registration stays open through the first 12 levels of each starting day, which means a player arriving in Malta on Friday morning can enter Flight C at noon or Flight D at 20:00 and still have full late registration available. There is almost no scenario in which a player cannot find a starting flight that works for their travel schedule.

The €1,500 buy-in is the standard for WSOP Circuit Main Events in Europe. It is the right number for Malta: serious enough to mean something, accessible enough to draw international recreational players who plan the trip properly. Whoever wins this becomes the first-ever WSOP Circuit Malta Main Event champion. That is a permanent entry in the record books that no future winner can take from them.

Online satellites via GGPoker: GGPoker’s exclusive online satellite program targets the Main Event specifically. The ladder starts with freerolls, progresses through step satellites from €5, and culminates in weekly €150 Super Satellites awarding €1,500 Main Event seats. Satellites have been running since August 10 and continue daily through the festival. Open the GGPoker client and search the satellites tab for WSOP Malta.

Live satellites: €180 Landmark Satellites to the Main Event run daily throughout the festival: September 25 at 17:00 and 21:00, September 26 at 17:00 and 21:00, September 27 at 21:00, September 29 at 21:00, September 30 at 12:00 and 21:00, October 1 at 12:00 and 21:00, and October 2 at 12:00.

Event #9: €1,000 NLH Deepstack

Buy-in: €1,000 | Starting chips: 50,000 | Clock: 40-minute levels | Format: Unlimited re-entry | Late registration: End of Level 12, Day 2

Saturday, October 3, at 15:00. The Deepstack fires on the same day as the Main Event Day 2 and the PLO ring event, making Saturday October 3 the busiest single day of the back half of the festival. At €1,000 with 50,000 starting chips and 40-minute levels, the Deepstack is a proper poker tournament with structure comparable to the Main Event at a lower buy-in. Late registration extends through Level 12 on Day 2, so players who bust the Main Event on Day 2 have a direct path into the Deepstack as a live option. This is the event for players who want a ring but find the Main Event timing or buy-in slightly out of reach.

Event #10: €550 Pot-Limit Omaha

Buy-in: €550 | Starting chips: 40,000 | Clock: 40-minute levels | Format: Unlimited re-entry | Late registration: End of Level 11

Saturday, October 3, at 19:30. The only Omaha ring event on the entire schedule and one of the most interesting events of the week for players who play both disciplines. PLO draws a specific crowd: the format rewards high hand equity, aggression, and an understanding of run-out dynamics that is genuinely different from Hold’em. At €550 it is accessible to the full festival field, and the PLO ring at a first-ever WSOP Circuit stop is a genuinely rare piece of hardware. Malta’s iGaming community has a strong Omaha-playing contingent, and the €550 price point means any player at the festival can take a shot at the only Omaha ring of the week.

Event #11: €400 NLH Superstack

Buy-in: €400 | Starting chips: 100,000 | Clock: 40-minute levels | Format: Unlimited re-entry | Late registration: End of Level 10

Sunday, October 4, at 14:00. The best stack-to-buy-in ratio on the entire schedule. At €400 with 100,000 starting chips and 40-minute levels, the Superstack offers more starting depth than any other event on the schedule including the Main Event. Players who want deep, considered poker without committing to a €1,500 entry will find the Superstack the standout value event of the back end of the festival. Sunday October 4 also has Colossus Flight F running in the evening, giving players the option to play both if they bust the Superstack early enough.

Event #12: €400 NLH Bigstack

Buy-in: €400 | Starting chips: 50,000 | Clock: 20-minute levels | Format: Unlimited re-entry | Late registration: End of Level 11

Monday, October 5, at 15:00. The festival closer. A turbo ring event at €400 on the final day of the series, designed to give players who are still in Malta after the Main Event concludes one last shot at a ring. The 20-minute clock means this one moves fast. If the Main Event final table runs long on Monday, some players may find themselves jumping into the Bigstack as a late re-entry option while they wait for the Main Event to crown its champion. It is a low-cost, high-energy closer to an eleven-day festival and a ring for €400 is one of the best value propositions in European poker this autumn.

The inaugural Battle of Malta Slovakia Edition is running September 7-14 at Card Casino Samorín near Bratislava, with a €400 buy-in Main Event carrying a €400,000 guarantee. It is the first time the Battle of Malta has taken its name outside of Malta, and it is bringing the same format mix of value events, bounty tournaments, and deep structures that has made the original festival one of Europe’s most popular. poker.pro has been covering the Slovakia Edition throughout the week.

Malta in Autumn: The Full Picture

Look at the calendar and what you see is one of the richest stretches of live poker Malta has ever hosted. The WSOP Circuit runs September 25 to October 5 at Casino Malta. The Battle of Malta Autumn Edition runs October 27 to November 4 at the same venue, three weeks later. Between them, Malta is hosting twelve WSOP Circuit rings and one of Europe’s largest guaranteed festivals in the space of six weeks. For players who can make both trips, or for those based in Malta or nearby who want a full autumn of serious poker without leaving the island, there is no better time to be in St. Julian’s than right now through early November.

poker.pro will be on the ground for both events. All WSOP Circuit Malta coverage published at poker.pro from September 25. Battle of Malta Autumn Edition coverage at battleofmalta.com from October 27.

FAQ

Every ring event winner at WSOP Circuit Malta receives a WSOP Circuit gold ring, their prize money from the event, and a $5,000 package to WSOP Paradise 2026 in the Bahamas. The Paradise package includes the tournament buy-in and hotel accommodation, linking the Malta titles directly to the end-of-year global WSOP Circuit Championship. Winning any of the twelve events on this schedule is a step that goes well beyond Malta.
