Brett Worton Dismantles the Competition in Event #1: $340 Seniors ($6,500)
Brett Worton Wins the Seniors Brett Worton overcame the stacked 145 player field to take home another PPT trophy. He and four players agreed to a chop leaving them with $6,500 each, aside from the short stacked Brian Fleming. He took home $4,110 as the tournament drew a prize pool of $41,325.
Worton began the day relatively calm, eventually picking up steam as the chip leader nearing the bubble. He avoided a lot of action making it through the money and final table bubble. From there, he took the reigns finding a freeroll flush against Vern Edjericon to bring play to six-handed.
With him, Jody Fayant, Pamela MacNaughton, Larry Quon, and Fleming having agreed to a chop, the final stage was set. Worton won back to back flips finding a rivered top and two pair to take home the trophy.

The only game of the series to start at noon (outside Day 2 of the Main), the Seniors get 26k in chips for their $340.
Blinds are 30 minutes long throughout the game, and players can get into the action or rebuy for 8 levels, with entries set to close after dinner at about 4:45 PM. After that, they’ll play down to the trophy, with action expected to run until well past midnight.
Seniors Ends with a Four Person Chop In May, Saroar Parvez and Ali Razzaq chopped it up in the end, along with Jody Fayant and Rob Lothian. They prevailed over a field of 91 entries for prizes of almost $26k.
