When they got 4 ways, the average stack was barely 10 big blinds, and the chips were flying around the table with the chip lead moving often. After a couple of 4-way hands, Stefan Maloney suggested an ICM chop.

Once the numbers were in, with Denis Mujcin the lead, they all agreed to the chop, and the game was over. Mujcin took the biggest prize along with the trophy. Below is a look at the final results for the PLO Deepstack Hyper, including the adjusted payouts for ICM.

Denis Mujcin is up to 2.7 million for the lead after sending Kendall Veillette home in 5th place. I missed the preflop action, but when I got to the table, the flop of 10♦7♠Q♥ was out and, after a check from Mujcin, Veillette potted. Mujcin shoved over top, and Veillette called, but was well behind with 8♣4♥4♠3♣ against the K♥Q♠Q♣3♦. Mujcin had a set of queens, and despite rivering the set on the 9♠4♣ runout, it wasn’t enough to crack the queens for Mujcin.

Kendall Veillette made it 175k from the cutoff before Bash Ramahi repotted to 600k. Veillette called it off with less, and he had to fade the aces of Ramahi playing A♠A♥5♠4♦ against the K♥J♦9♦7♦ for Veillette. The sparkling board favoured Veillette, however, coming 5♦A♣10♦8♦2♦. Despite flopping a set of aces, Ramahi had to pay the double to Veillette to more than 1 million. The hand left Ramahi shorter, but he picked up another pot shortly after and is back to close to a million as well.

Bash Ramahi limped the button, and Stefan Maloney called the small blind before Alan Zhu potted his big blind for 160k. That left him fumes behind, and after Ramahi called, they both just went in blind for the rest before the flop.

Zhu was on A♦J♣8♦7♦ against K♠Q♦8♣4♦ for Ramahi, and after the board was out, Zhu hit two pair with his ace-jack to stay alive once again.

In the final hand of Level 23, Bash Ramahi limped in from the cutoff before button Stefan Maloney raised it up to 135k. Alan Zhu, in the small blind, put in his remaining stack of 75k and when it folded back to Ramahi, he mucked.

Maloney was in great shape with K♠K♥10♦7♣ against J♣10♠8♣3♠, but once the 6♥5♥6♦8♥8♠ board was out, Zhu had trip eights to stay alive.

Bash Ramahi has been a wrecking ball at the final table, and he just sent three players home to stack up half the chips in play. He scored a double knockout to send Benny Sarnelli and Bill Biagioni to the rail for 7th & 6th, and then he collected the chips from Sal Haji shortly after.

Entries are open for the first 11 levels of play, putting the final chance to enter at about 9:15 PM. After that, they play down to a winner before the game ends. This game tends to run very fast, and it’s entirely possible this trophy will be awarded before Day 1a of Event #3 bags.

In the May games, Levi Jones was the only person standing in the way of David Cox’ back-to-back wins in this event, with Cox taking the runner-up spot in this one after winning the version in PPT #1 this year. Jones made it through 59 entries for more than $6k from the $16,810 prize pool.
