Gerard Brimmers limped UTG before Andrew Law made it 11,000 from UTG+1. Simon Lee made the call from the Hi-jack, and Brimmers followed suit.

After an initial check from Brimmers, Law bet 15,000 on the 102K flop. Both of his opponents made the call before all three players checked the 4 turn. After another check from Brimmers on the 3 river, Law bet 16,000. Lee made the call before Brimmers mucked.

    Andrew Law: KQ
    Simon Lee: JJ

Lee’s fishhooks were not good enough, and Law claimed the decently-sized pot.

    Andrew Law: 308,500
    Simon Lee: 202,500

Last year, THMC was played at Dusk Till Dawn in March. Then, the buy-in was £280, and the guarantee was £100,000. A total of 440 entries generated a £105,600 prize pool, and the biggest slice of the cake (£20,500) was claimed by Qing Zheng. Coincidentally, that was the first time this poker.pro live reporter paid the home of UK poker a visit, and covered every nook and cranny of the action. Press the link below to read a recap of Zheng’s road to victory.

Action folded to Muhammad Khalil, who decided to limp the 2,500 Big Blind. Thang Truong (Button) and Costas Constantinou (Small Blind) both made the call before Donald Jones checked his Big Blind.

It was Constantinou who led out for 6,000 on the 6K2 flop, and Truong was the sole caller. Truong called 10,000 from Constantinou on the 3 turn, then another 20,000 on the 4 river.

Constantinou tabled 52 for a runner-runner straight, and Truong threw his cards into the muck.

    Costas Constantinou: 330,000
    Thang Truong: 105,000

David Mundle opened to 5,000 from the Cut-off. Danny Pyke (Button), Mohammad Modaber (Small Blind), and Colin Arnott (Big Blind) all made the call.

Mobader checked the 5610 flop before Arnott bet 6,000. All of his competition made the call, and the 9 came on the turn. Another check from Mobader was followed by a 9,500 bet from Arnott. Mundle made the call, Pyke surrendered, and Mobader came along for the ride.

The Q river action was quite intriguing. Check from Mobader, 25,000 from Arnott, and then a 40,000 raise from Mundle. Then, Mobader was the one who made the call, while Arnott mucked.

    David Mundle: A8
    Mohammad Mobader: 64

Flush against flush, and with the nuts, Mundle secured the pot.

    David Mundle: 257,500
    Mohammad Mobader: 127,500

George Robinson opened to 4,000 UTG. Seated in the Big Blind, Anthony Power was the sole caller.

After an initial check from Power, Robinson bet 5,000 on the 26J flop. Power then completed a check-raise move to 10,000, and Power made the call. Power continued on the aggressive path with another 10,000 on the 7 turn, and Robinson wasn’t going anywhere. Power fired 10,000 yet again on the 8 river, and was now faced with a 65,000 raise from Robinson. After a minute’s worth of consideration, Power made the call.

“Jack,” Power announced as he made the call. “Jack is good, I missed my diamonds,” Robinson confessed. Power tabled QJ before the dealer pushed the chips his way.

    Anthony Power: 297,000
    George Robinson: 123,500

  • The Stage is Set for the 2026 THMC Nottingham

    Photo: Václav Dušek

Welcome, fellow poker enthusiasts, to the poker.pro live blog which will cover all the action from the 2026 THMC Nottingham these following days.

Swedish poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén arrived to Nottingham yesterday, after roughly a three-hour car drive from London together with Roland Boothby, Head of Partnership at The Hendon Mob. Now arrived at Dusk Till Dawn, the home of UK poker, this Scandinavian can now confirm he has goosebumbs all the way up his sleeves. That’s despite wearing a sleeveless shirt!

What is going to be the main focus of the live blog is, naturally, the £230 Main Event. The Hendon Mob and Dusk Till Dawn have gone all out in order to create a spectucular tournament. For instance, last year’s event had a £280 buy-in with a £100,000 guarantee. Not only has the buy-in been lowered this year, but the guarantee has also doubled; with at least £200,000 to play for, you’d better believe there’ll be immense action over the following three days.

The two-day tournament consists of six starting-day flights. Today, 1a (12:00) and 1b (18:00) will be played on-site. During the last couple of days, there have been two online starting-day flights on GGPoker. A total of 10 players have made it through from these two, and those 10 in particular have a chance to sweeten the deal if they make the final table, thanks to the “Golden Chip” campaign. If a player who made it through from any of the online flights make the final table on Sunday, he/she will receive an added £1,500 Main Event ticket for the 2026 WSOP Circuit Nottingham (dates yet to be announced).

That’s not the only added value of the tournament, though. As is always the case with THMC, the Main Event winner will receive a $2,500 package for the 2026 THMC South Africa Millions, which will be played sometime during October/November this year (dates are yet to be announced). The package is added to the £200,000 guaranteed prize pool. Speaking of the guarantee, it includes 20 £1,100 Main Event tickets for the 2026 UKPC Masters, which will be played at Dusk Till Dawn this September.

All starting-day flights, whether it’s live or online, play down to 15% of the field. All players who make Day 2 will be in the money.

Cards will be in the air in roughly 10 minutes; this poker.pro live reporter is eager to hit the floor and catch every knook and cranny of the action. Today’s blog will focus on Day 1a, but the chip counts from all the flights will be posted as well. Stay tuned for the chip counts from the online flights. In the meantime, check out the full schedule of today below, and see you when the action kicks off.

  • The 2026 THMC Nottingham Kicks Off at Dusk Till Dawn

Dusk Till Dawn tournament area during the 2025 Hendon Mob Championship.

The 2026 THMC Nottingham has arrived, and Dusk Till Dawn is now in the thick of five days of action running through July 12. The £230 Main Event headlines an eight-event schedule, playing out across six starting-day flights (including two online on GGPoker), with each flight played down to ITM so every Day 2 qualifier locks up a min-cash. This year’s guarantee has doubled to £200,000, and the eventual winner will walk away with a $2,500 package for the 2026 THMC South Africa Millions on top of the prize pool.

Last year, Qing Zheng took down the £270 Main Event to claim the 2025 THMC Nottingham title, and the field will be looking to follow in those footsteps this time around. With side events starting from just £60 and poker.pro’s own Christoffer Karlén on-site covering every hand, Nottingham’s biggest trophy is officially up for grabs.
