The Hendon Mob has played a vital role in the world of poker since the database launched in 2001. For decades, it has been the biggest live poker archive, and with thousands of visitors every day, it has always been the go-to for poker enthusiasts who want to follow the results of all live poker players.

The Hendon Mob has grown to become so much more than just a tournament database, though. One of their much-appreciated projects in more recent years has been The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC). Their own recurring live poker festival was held for the first time in 2018. Since then, it’s only grown bigger and better, and considering that those who cash in the Main Event receive a unique flag on their profile on The Hendon Mob, there is some prestige in THMC.

There has been a handful of THMC events so far in 2026, and soon, it’s time for another installment, this time at the UK’s finest poker venue. The 2026 THMC Nottingham is just shy of a month away, and for five days straight, Dusk Till Dawn will be the pinnacle of the UK poker scene.

Founded by Joe Beevers, Barny Boatman, Ross Boatman, and Ram Vaswani back in 2000, The Hendon Mob has some magnitude to its name. One simply can’t review modern poker history without mentioning The Hendon Mob and the role it has played for the last 25 years.

With its powerful background in mind, there’s no surprise that THMC has become such a popular live poker event. In roughly one month, players will once again get the opportunity to compete for the prestigious THMC trophy. The 2026 THMC Nottingham will be played July 8-12 at Dusk Till Dawn, Nottingham. The schedule of the five-day festival features eight unique events, where the £230 THMC Main Event is the star of the show.

The said tournament has six starting-day flights; two of them are online flights on GGPoker. The first one is scheduled on July 7, which can be considered somewhat of a stealth start to the festival. Each starting-day flight will be played down until ITM, meaning that those who make it through to Day 2 (July 12) will all be guaranteed a min-cash. The tournament has a £200,000 guarantee, and it’s very evident that The Hendon Mob is seeking to elevate this event. Last year’s edition at Dusk Till Dawn had a £100,000 guarantee; this time, it’s double bubble, and there’ll be a lot to play for at the legendary card room.

There are a few more things to mention regarding the Main Event. For starters, Day 1a (July 12) features an early-bird special: register for the tournament before it starts, and you won’t have to pay the £30 registration fee. Second, the final table will be live-streamed, most likely with Roland Boothby (Head of Partnership at The Hendon Mob) on commentary. Also, as is always the case with THMC, the Main Event winner will receive a $2,500 package for the 2026 THMC South Africa Millions, which will be played sometime during October/November this year (dates are yet to be announced). The package is added to the £200,000 guarantee. Speaking of the guarantee, it includes 20 £1,100 Main Event tickets for the 2026 UKPC Masters, which will be played at Dusk Till Dawn this September.

Perhaps the most interesting thing, though, is connected to the two starting-day flights online on GGPoker. It’s called the “Golden Chip” campaign: if you make Day 2 through one of the two online flights and then make the final table, you’ll be awarded a £1,500 Main Event ticket for the 2026 WSOP Circuit Nottingham (dates yet to be announced). There is some added value to this tournament, to say the least. Imagine if you win the tournament after making it through an online flight; you’ll receive the trophy, the first-place payout, a $2,500 package, and a £1,500 ticket. Not too shabby.

In terms of side event action, the 2026 THMC Nottingham schedule includes seven more Texas NLH tournaments. Perhaps, the £500 THMC High Roller with its £50,000 guarantee is the most intriguing one of the bunch. That being said, there are tournaments starting from £60; no matter one’s bankroll, there is something for everyone. Check out the full schedule below.
