The main game on Wednesday is the $560 NLH. Action gets going at 1 PM, and players sit down with 30k in chips. Blinds will last 30 minutes through the day, until heads up drops them to 20 minutes.
The entry desk is open for 8 levels, and will close at about 5:45 PM when they return from the dinner break following Level 8. This is a one-day event, so they’ll hand out a trophy before the day ends.
In the opening PPT of 2026, local business tycoon DJ Sharma took down this event over Matthew Ouellette heads up. They were the top from 99 entries for a prize pool just under $50k. I’m pretty sure Sharma won’t be around to defend this one, as he said he was heading to Montreal this week to follow his beloved Canadians in their playoff run. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him fly back JUST to defend a title.
