Christian Martin raised to 1,400,000 from the small blind, and was met with an all-in from Alberto Martinez in the big blind with the slightly covering stack.
Martin quickly called off for his 5,400,000 total stack.
Christian Martin: 10♦10♣
Alberto Martinez: 4♦4♣
Martin was in great shape, but the 8♣4♥3♣ flop gave Martinez a set in cruel fashion.
Martin looked on forlornly as the 9♥2♦ runout confirmed his fate, while Martinez could barely believe his luck.
The tournament is now heads-up, with Marius-Laurentiu Dinu holding a reasonable lead over Martinez.
Alberto Martinez – 11,950,000
Marius-Laurentiu Dinu – 17,125,000
Christian Martin – 0
