James Cruickshank shoved, and James Chan called for a race between his jacks and ace-queen for Cruickshank. Cruickshank found a queen on the flop and rivered his ace for two pair, and a double from 620k. Chan was left with less than 100k behind.
Shortly after, Cole Harmon managed to double his short stack. He was all in, with two callers. There was a side pot between Julius Roque and Ed Kershaw. They checked it through the flop, and Roque bet the turn to get Kershaw to fold.
That left Roque with Q♦7♦ against J♦3♦ for Harmon, with both players drawing to diamonds, but Harmon on a pair of threes. When the river completed a board of 2♥K♦2♦3♣4♠, Harmon’s three was still ahead after fading his dead diamond draw.
Jason Chan also grabbed a double to stay alive.
