It wasn’t a good night for chip leaders in the HORSE. Eric Tran started the final table with the lead, but pretty soon that switched to Calvin Lake. They ended up in 3rd and 4th, respectively.
Sebastian Lamprea took over the lead and still held it when they got heads-up, but Fat Wong found a sunrun in the final phase, taking down every hand of heads-up. He simply couldn’t miss.
His domination started in razz, when his ninety-seven somehow held against a great low board for Lamprea. They went to Stud, and he found aces-up for another win. In Stud8, he found a boat with neither player having a low. A few hands later, they got to Limit Hold’em, and he found a set of three as Lamprea bricked his heart draw for all the chips.
This was Wong’s first Circuit ring in what looks like his second live win.
