The final flight for Event #3 is running on Saturday, and it promises to be a big one. With 266 entries in the field already, it looks like a sure bet for the field to crack 450 by the end of 1c, and it could easily go bigger than 500.
The leader after two flights is Phil Clingo, who bagged 600k on Day 1b. That was enough to cap Mike Malm’s 1a top stack of 570.5k.
1c will be a bigger redo of the first two flights. Play starts at 2 PM, and players get 25k to start. Levels are 30 minutes on Day 1, and entries are open for 11 levels until about 8:45 PM. After that, they play down to 10$ of the field before the end of play.
Day 1a ended pretty early, with Level 16 just beginning, while 1b was a marathon, with the bubble play lasting until 26 minutes remaining in Level 18. It’s an open question how late 1c will play.
