Day 1a of Event #3 is now underway. There were 27 players to start the day, but that has already jumped to 35 as I write the post. Among the players in action today are a couple of deep runners from yesterday’s games. Stephen Scott was at the Seniors final table last night, while Lillian Munch made the final four in the side event. Among the others joining them in today’s action so far are Jaqueline Ray, Russ Sluchinski, and Terry Langdon.
There’s been a small change to the structure for Event #3 — Day 1a will play down to 10% no matter how late it goes. The previous structure said they’d bag after 16 levels, but that has been changed to ensure all players are in the money for Day 2. The other small change I noticed was that blinds will increase to 40 minutes once the field is down to 18 players on Day 2.
