The whole field gets their first shot at a trophy from PPT #3 with Event #2: $340 NLH/PLO Mix. The game starts at 5 OM on Jul 16, and will run until a winner is decided. Traditionally, this game runs very late, with the trophy often handed out after 6 AM.
Players sit down with 25k in chips for 30-minute levels. They can enter or rebuy for the first 8 levels of play, putting the end of entries at about 9:30 PM. As is traditional with the Mix game, odd-numbered levels starting with L1 are played with two cards, while even-numbered levels starting with L2 are played with four cards.

In the May series, Ross Wilson started an epic series with a win in this one. He ran roughshod over the 95-entry field to take it down and start his Player of the Series run. In the end, Wilson scored another win in a PLO event later in the series, but fell just shy of Main Event winner Cam Stewart for the PoS title. The race came down to the wire with the final day of Main Event action deciding it.
