Monday is HORSE day at Deerfoot Inn & Casino. Event #9 is the HORSE rotation featuring the limit games Hold’em, Omaha 8 or better, Razz, Stud, and Stud 8 or better.
Action starts at 2 pm, and players get 25k in chips to start. Entries are open for 10 levels, with the desk closing at about 6:40 PM. After that, they’ll play to a winner before the end of the day.
In the Spring of this year, Kurtis Ruhl prevailed over 42 entries ($14,165 prizes) and took down the win after a heads-up deal with James Ivanich. Last Summer, Jared Dobson & Kimberly Durham chopped up the win over 58 entries ($19,561 in prizes).
