The wait is over. Tomorrow on Friday, September 25, the World Series of Poker Circuit makes its long-awaited Malta debut, as the first cards hit the felt at Casino Malta in St. George’s Bay in St. Julian’s. Organized in partnership with Texapoker, the festival runs through Monday, October 5, with twelve coveted WSOP Circuit rings up for grabs in eleven days and buy-ins ranging from €300 up to €2,500.
On top of the hardware (and the prize money), every ring winner will also receive a $5,000 package to the WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas, converting a Malta title into a ticket for one of the most hyped stops on the poker calendar.
That said, players already on the island don’t have to wait until tomorrow to get involved. Tonight, Thursday, September 24, Casino Malta hosts a €170 WSOP Main Event Satellite at 19:00, with three €1,500 Main Event tickets guaranteed. With this, early birds have a shot at locking up their seat before a single ring event even starts!

Opening Weekend Features Mini Main, Seniors, Mystery Bounty, and Colossus
The action kicks off with Event #1: €300 NLH Mini Main Event, the most accessible ring event of the series. Four starting flights run across the opening two days, with survivors returning on Sunday for the Final Day, where the first-ever WSOP Circuit Malta ring will be awarded.
Sunday also brings the start of three new events. Event #2: €550 NLH Seniors fires first with players aged 50 and over, the exciting Event #3: €550 NLH Mystery Bounty opens with the first of its three starting flights, and last but not least, Event #4: €300 NLH Colossus kicks off in the evening with the first out of six turbo flights.

The Main Event Starts on Wednesday
The centerpiece of the festival is Event #8: €1,500 NLH Main Event, which gets underway next Wednesday. There are four flights to choose from: Flight A on Wednesday, September 30, Flight B on Thursday, October 1, and Flights C and D on Friday, October 2, at 12:30 and 20:00 respectively.
Day 2 plays out on Saturday, October 3, followed by the Final Day on Sunday, October 4, when the first-ever WSOP Circuit Malta Main Event champion will be crowned.
