Only 20 minutes into Day 2, and a contender for “Hand of the Tournament” has already played out.
Lorenc Boci opened to 100,000 from the Lo-jack. Aiden Janus made the call from the Cut-off before Lucian Pilo made it 200,000 on the Big Blind. Both of his opponents made the call.
After a check from Boci, Janus moved all in (sadly, the amounts are unknown, as this poker.pro missed the hand and was told about it afterward) on the 9♥6♠J♣ flop. Pilo re-shoved, and Boci made the call, having both players covered.

What was supposed to follow would cause a roar that still echoes through the tournament area. A dramatic 9♠ turn saw Janus claiming the driver’s seat, before the astonishing A♦ river saw Pilo ending up with the best hand. Three full houses, in other words. It all resulted in Janus going out in one hundred twenty-eight place for £400, Boci was crippled, and Pilo improved his stack significantly.
