It all kicked off on Table 21 just before the dinner break. After Leo Brouwer limped in under the gun, Gennady Klimeno shoved for 780k next to act. Mark Aylward-Nally reshoved about 1.2 million next to go, and Paolo Guzman shoved with less right after.

The left Brouwer twisting a bit, and he tanked for more than a minute before folding just as the clock ticked down to the dinner break. Klimenko had J♦10♣, Aylward-Nally was on A♣Q♣, while Guzman was on pocket tens.

Klimenko flopped open-ended, then rivered his straight, while Aylward-Nally flopped a queen and turned trips. That left the tens 3rd-best, with Klimenko taking most of Guzman’s stack, and Aylward-Nally taking the rest and bringing the game to 15 remaining as they head to dinner.
