Action was caught after the flop of Q♦J♣7♣, and Michael Hollingsworth checked from the big blind. Jimmy Mak fired for 320,000 from the button, and Hollingsworth moved all in for 2,530,000. Mak made the call, and both players revealed their holdings.
Michael Hollingsworth: J♦6♣
Jimmy Mak: A♣A♦
Hollingsworth admitted he misread his hand thinking he flopped two pair. He couldn’t improve on the 3♦5♦ runout to bring play heads-up.
Jimmy Mak: 7,510,000
Rodney Poirier: 1,600,000
