Nicholas Lee almost certainly pushed his Hendon Mob earnings over $500k tonight with his win in Event #4. He scored a bit more than $8,500 Cdn for the win and with his Hendon total at $497k going into tonight, this should push him over the top by ~$1k.
Lee held the big stack for much of the final table, though he traded it off to 3rd place Skyler Yorke a couple of times throughout the endgame. He played a solid game, however, finding lots of spots to pick up pots uncontested and finding hands when he needed to.
As an example of the latter, the final hand saw him flop a wheel with Q♠J♥4♠3♣ on a board of A♠2♠5♦A♥3♥. Runner-up JJ Johnstone flopped top-top and turned trip aces, but it wasn’t enough to flatten Lee’s wheel. Lee was also drawing to the spade flush but ultimately didn’t need it.
