| Day 1 Ends: | 5% of the Field, or End of Level 22 |
It’s time for the opening flight to the Mini Main. Last time around, this game was Mini in name only, as it smashed the local records for field size with 2,269 across the four flights.
October’s game kicks off with Day 1a at 4 PM on Oct 1. Players get 30k to start, and Day 1a/c play 25-minute blinds. Players can get a stack for the first 12 levels of play, putting the final chance to enter 1a about 9:45 PM.
This is a Day 1 paid event that plays down to 5% (or the end of Level 22). Players start getting paid at 15%, however, so a good chunk of the pay spots will be paid out during Day 1 play. If they make it to Level 22 before they get to 5%, the game will end at the conclusion of Level 22, otherwise, they bag up whenever they hit 5%.

This past January, Edmonton’s Benny Sarnelli took down this record-setting game for the biggest share of $735,405, while last October, Nicholas Lee picked up his fourth ring after making through 1,668 entries ($550,440 in prizes).
