Event #14: $1,500 Super Stack (Main) ($1,350 + $150)
Date: Day 2: Apr 19, Noon Blinds: 60 Minutes Entries: 58/315 Prizes (1st Place): $403,988 ($90,893) Chip Leader: Osbert Liu (728.5k)
Day 2 of the Main Event is set with more than $400k up for grabs. 32 players will get a piece of the action, so that means 26 Day 2 players will have to go home empty-handed from Sunday’s action.
The Day 2 action kicks off at Noon, and they’ll play until a winner is decided. Given that there are 58 returning players, expect it to be a long day before the final hands are played. The Day 2 blinds are 60 minutes, and the action kicks off in Level 16 with blinds at 3k/6k/6k.
Osbert Liu is the chip leader to start the day. He bagged 728.5k on Day 1b, and is 150k ahead of the Day 1a leader, Chris Bryant in second place. The 3rd place stack asked to be reported as DNR, but Jamie Martin (a1) and Shivan Ahmad (1b) round out the top five counts.
