Benny Sarnelli shoved the small stack from the cutoff for 29k, saying that he wanted to stay as he was having fun. Dwayne Wong called from the button, as did big blind Haven Taylor. Taylor and Wong both checked the K♥Q♥A♦ flop, but Taylor led for 50k on the J♥ turn.
Wong tanked for a bit before folding two pair face up. “Got the hearts already?” Sarnelli asked.
“I have dog shit,” Taylor chuckled. “You said you wanted to stay; I’m giving you protection.”
Taylor had 9♠5♣4♥2♦, and when the 10♥ came on the river, Sarnelli’s J♦9♦7♣4♣ found a straight for the win.
