The Final Shot at the Monster is Turbo

2026 WSOP-C Oct
Date:Oct 7, 4 PM
Blinds:20 Minutes
Starting Stack:40k
Late Entry:12 Levels (Entries Close About 8:50 PM)
Day 1 Ends:24 Levels or 5% of the Field

There’s an extra chance to slay the Monster Stack in this series, with a Day 1c for the first time. The final flight is a turbo game that runs on Wednesday evening starting at 4 PM.

The blinds for 1c are 20 minutes, and there will be a break every 6 levels, with players able to buy a 40k stack anytime in the first 12 levels of play. Including the two breaks, that should put the end of entries at about 8:50 PM. After that, the game plays to the end of Level 24, or 5% of the field, whichever comes first.

As 1c is a new flight for this event, It’s unclear what sort of field size it will see, but I would expect a lot of entries coming over from Day 1b after registration closes on that one. Plus, I expect some players may prefer the turbo structure, so the field for this one should be pretty good.

After the Day 1a flight closed, they had 456 entries, so with the third flight, I expect a field of 1,500 or more by the time entries close on the Monster. 22 players made it through the day, one fewer than the expected 23. Kalyan Cheekuri is the 1a leader with nearly 2 million in his bag, and 5 others have at least a million chips.

Top Day 1a Stacks

The opening flight ended with 10:46 remaining in Level 23, so that’s the current Day 2 start. That could change if one of the final two flights finishes earlier than that.
