How the First Four Days Unfolded
The opening days set a strong tone for the rest of the week, including the poker.pro-branded tournaments that delivered some true variety with formats that challenge players across the full poker spectrum:
- Day 1 (Sunday): The £50,000 GTD Mini Main Event drew 151 entries in its first flight, with Florin‑Vasile Sturzu bagging 949,000 chips. The first poker.pro event, £100 buy-in PL Sviten Special draw 38 entries and saw PartyPoker Ambassador Jaime Staples cash fifth with Matt Murphy taking the title, while John Murray won the PLO Masters Saturday Party Madness Courchevel Bounty ahead of runner‑up Deniz Orhan.
- Day 2 (Monday): Mini Main Event Day 1B attracted 109 entries, with 16 advancing; Staples bagged a healthy 227,000. The PLO Masters 4/5/6 Bounty crowned another champion.
- Day 3 (Tuesday): Day 1C added 89 more Mini Main entries, with Boyuan Xue (603,000), Baptiste Auger (460,000) and Jitin Dhawan (368,000) leading survivors. The £100 poker.pro PL H.O.R.S.E. attracted 57 entries and a £4,845 prize pool, with Seyed Hosseinizad taking the title and £1,600.
- Day 4 (Wednesday, July 7): The festival continued with further Mini Main flights and side events, building momentum toward the Main Event and the rest of the week’s headline tournaments.

What to Keep an Eye On
There’s action every day, but a few highlights stand out:
- £150 Mini Main Event (£50,000 GTD)
- £500 Main Event (£100,000 GTD)
- £250 PLO Masters (£20,000 GTD)
- poker.pro mixed game events, including H.O.R.S.E., Sviten Special, 2‑7 Triple Draw, and more
This isn’t just a Hold’em grind. The schedule leans heavily into variety, which is where poker.pro coverage really shines.
Why It’s Worth Following
PartyPoker’s “Putting Players First” model, with no hidden fees, transparent prize pools, and accessible buy-ins, is clearly resonating, and the turnout reflects that.
Add in mixed games, strong fields, and a busy London setting, and this is one of the more complete stops on the current live calendar.
The Simple Way to Follow
If you want to keep it easy:
- Check poker.pro for daily recaps and live updates
- Tune into the stream for the big moments later in the week
- Follow key chip counts and stories as fields narrow
Everything else is noise.
