A World Series of Poker Circuit (often abbreviated WSOP Circuit) Ring is one of the most prestigious tokens of success in poker. There are a total of seven WSOP Circuit events across Europe during the second half of 2026. The next one will be the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, and straight after that, the spotlight will shine on the Slovakian capital, seeing as the appreciated live poker tour will head to Bratislava. With 12 certified Ring Events on the schedule, the 2026 WSOP Circuit Bratislava is destined to be one of the highlights of the European poker year.
€1,000,000 GTD Headlines Bratislava’s Biggest Festival
For the second consecutive year, the WSOP Circuit will return to Card Casino Šamorín, located at the outskirts of Bratislava, Slovakia. The venue in question is no stranger when it comes to hosting live poker events of a certain magnitude, and considering the upcoming 2026 WSOP Circuit Bratislava will attract many players from all over the world, it will be another busy 12 days at one of Bratislava’s biggest card rooms.
The 2026 WSOP Circuit Bratislava will be played July 31-August 9, and judging by the tournament schedule, it should be a very busy live poker festival. The star of the show will undoubtedly be the €1,500 Main Event. With a €1,000,000 guarantee, it’s going to be one heck of a poker tournament. The structure of the event leaves nothing to wish for; players will lock horns in the five various starting-day flights. It’s a four-day event overall, and a winner will ultimately be crowned on August 11, the final day of the festival. It’s an educated guess that Robert Obrtlík will do what he can to defend his title, ensuring the trophy stays on Slovakian soil. Last year, he emerged victorious after navigating his way through a field that consisted of 882 entries. That feat saw Obrtlík securing €180,200, which was the biggest slice of the €1,039,216 prize pool. Considering the hype around the event, it wouldn’t be surprising to see even bigger numbers this year.

While the Main Event is destined to be the most popular tournament, there will be a lot more to play for. In fact, there are no fewer than 12 WSOP Circuit Ring Events on the schedule. The whole festival kicks off with the €350 Mini Main Event, a three-day tournament which features five starting-day flights. With a €300,000 guarantee, a big turnout is to be expected in this three-day gem of an event. Another intriguing one that will kick off during the earlier days of the festival is the €550 Mystery Bounty. It’s been said before, but poker.pro journalist Christoffer Karlén insists on saying it again: nothing beats the thrill of a live poker Mystery Bounty tournament. Last year, Dmitry Lineburg claimed the title and the €21,950 first-place payout after eliminating Dragan Parpandjelovic in second place. The win saw Lineburg securing his first WSOP Circuit Ring, and just a few months later, he claimed another one during the 2025 WSOP Circuit Rozvadov, an achievement that suggests that the WSOP Circuit Bratislava is a good omen for the future for all its winners.
There will also be some PLO action at Card Casino Šamorín, where the €1,800 PLO Championship might tickle a little extra. A two-day event with three starting-day flights, a €500,000 guarantee, and generous 40-minute levels: what more is there to ask for if you’re a true PLO enthusiast? Other intriguing PLO affairs are the €550 PLO Opener with €150,000 guaranteed, and, of course, the €3,500 PLO High Roller.

August 6 will be quite the interesting day, with both the €350 Ladies Event and the €3,500 NLH High Roller. The reigning champion in the women-only tournament is Jovana Keljacki, who beat fellow Austrian Martina Goser heads-up for the €3,606 up-top and the coveted ring. Meanwhile, it was Marcin Dziubdziela who took down the NLH High Roller last year for €61,800 (it’s worth mentioning the buy-in was €3,000 back then).
With 12 WSOP Circuit Ring Events on the schedule, the 2026 WSOP Circuit Bratislava can’t be anything other than intense, intriguing, and interesting. There are also a few side events on the schedule, alongside a swarm of satellites for the various WSOP Circuit Ring Events, which will allow all players to compete for a seat at the tables for a cheaper prize.
