Considering the No Filter Poker Tour was created with the purpose of offering Swedes the easiest access possible to play legal live poker (after the closure of the last national Casino in April), one must say that the event is off to a great start. June 12, the tour kicked off at the Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel with the first two tournaments; already on the first day, many Swedes could be seen at the tables, locking horns with players from Estonia, Finland, and more.

Risberg Secures the Win
The first-ever No Filter Poker Tour tournament, the €200 NLH, commenced at 18:00 local time. Players had the opportunity for unlimited re-entries during the late registration period, and in total, the event clocked in at 108 entries, creating a €17,442 prize pool.

In fitting fashion, the inaugural tournament was won by a Swede, as Jan Risberg captured the title and the €4,632 first-place payout. According to his profile on The Hendon Mob, this is Risberg’s first title, however, the Scandinavian is no stranger to Estonian soil. In fact, his most recent visit to Tallinn prior to the No Filter Poker Tour was at the end of February, as he participated in the record-shattering 2025 Kings of Tallinn.
On the podium was also Michel Karim, who is the co-founder of the No Filter Poker Tour together with Mounir Tajiou. Out of the thirteen players who made it in the money, seven of them held the Swedish flag, and that’s proof that the No Filter Poker Tour already is fulfilling its promise; the Swedes love live poker, and it’s sublime for them to now have the No Filter Poker Tour.

While the €200 NLH tournament may was the highlight of Thursday, there was also the €80 Satellite to the €1,100 Main Event. Three tickets were guaranteed, and players fought hard for their seat in what will be a historic tournament. No Swedes got their hand on any of the three tickets, as they were claimed by Jari Anttila (Finland), Aleksei Gontsar (Estonia), and Maksim Solodilov (Estonia).
Main Event and PLO on Today’s Menu
Today is a big day for the No Filter Poker Tour. At 17:00 local time, the €1,100 No Filter Main Event Day 1 kicks off. Each player will be granted a 30,000 starting stack, and up until the conclusion of Level 12, unlimited re-entry and late registration are open (each level is 30 minutes long).
For those who fancy more cards than the two offered by Texas NLH, the €200 PLO4/5 tournament is scheduled to set afoot at 21:30.

The No Filter Poker Tour has just begun, and yet, it can already be determined that Tajiou and Karim knocked this one out of the park. With so many Swedes participating in yesterday’s side event, even more are expected to tango in today’s Main Event action. Tajiou and Karim (who, by the way, currently are number one and two on the Sweden GPI Player of the Year list) has enabled for many Swedes to keep enjoying live poker in an easy accessible and highly enjoyable way.
Of course, the OlyBet group and Olympic also deserve a round of applause. They will not stop after the No Filter Poker Series concludes, as the 2025 WSOPC Tallinn is just shy of a month away. With 12 ring events and a €1,000,000 guarantee Main Event, there’s no doubt this will be yet another great event by OlyBet and Olympic.
