After a swingy and lengthy heads-up, Aki Pyysing has now defeated Marius Toverud heads-up to secure his second WSOP Circuit Ring.
It all ended during a round of Razz. With the Q♦, Toverud brought in for 50,000. Pyysing and his 7♠ raised to 150,000, and Toverud responded by going all in for 360,000. Pyysing made the call without hesitation, and the two players tabled their hole cards, revealing their hands:

The dealer gave Pyysing the 10♠, and Toverud the K♠. Pyysing then received the decent 6♠, while Toverud didn’t benefit from the 3♣. “That should do it,” Pyysing said as he then got the 4♣, while Toverud got the 6♥. The players finally received their seventh card faced down, and then, they tabled their full hands.

With that, Pyysing got all the chips, the €18,380 first-place payout, the coveted ring, and the $5,000 package to the 2026 WSOP Paradise. Toverud has to wait for his first live poker tournament title (source: The Hendon Mob), but he should still be happy with the €12,220 he got for finishing second.
