The night was almost over after Dave S got the rest of his short stack in after flopping trip sevens. He called a raise from Hassan Issa preflop, leaving himself with fumes behind.

When the money was in and the hands revealed, Dave was in rough shape against aces for Issa, but he turned a spade draw with his ace-seven of spades, then rivered trip sevens to double and survive.
