A small update from Event #2: €350 NLH Deepstack Mystery Bounty. The tournament is now down to seven players after Sweden’s Simon Hesserud Persson recently was eliminated in eighth place.
After losing the majority of his stack with pocket jacks against pocket queens, Hesserud Persson was left with 115,000. He got it all in UTG the very next hand. Big-stacked Dmitri Dudakov (Lo-jack) and Simon Stenbäck (Big Blind) both made the call, hoping to get another bounty.
Dudakov and Stenbäck both checked every street of the 2♦5♠4♥10♠8♠ board.
Simon Hesserud Persson: A♥9♥
Simon Stenbäck: J♠2♣
Dmitri Dudakov: 9♠6♣
A pair of deuces was enough for Stenbäck to claim the pot, which saw Hesserud Persson’s impressive tournament run come to an end. With his pulled bounties included, he cashed for €3,340.
