Event #3 is now over, and it ended in a race. Ryan Comely had the big stack through all of heads-up, after Teliani led the final table for most of the day. He was card dead through much of the early final table today, but he started to pick up cards as players fell around him.
The final hand was a race between pocket threes for Comely and K♠J♦ for Teliani. Comely limp-called Teliani’s shove, and the 10♥7♦10♦A♣6♥ ran clean for the treys and Comely had another trophy. He said after the game that he promised he’d bring his kids home a trophy, so it’s nice to see dad make good on his promise.
