DJ Sharma is his usual boisterous self tonight, and when he realized he was under the gun on Maru Somers’ big blind, he said he was “coming after it” and raised to 26k. It folded around to Somers, and she made the call.
Sharma said he was on a monster that got bigger on the 6♠7♣K♥ flop, and after a check from Somers, he bet 66k. Somers was quiet through the whole hand, and check-shoved on him for just shy of 300k. That left Sharma a bit confused, but he mucked, musing that Somers might have been on seven-six. Mike Malm, who is here railing Sharma, countered that he thought it was king-queen.
Somers didn’t show any cards to help resolve the conflict.
