  • Lots of Beers and Cheers During Day 3

Day 3 of the 2025 Beer Poker Tour (September Edition) has come to an end. In terms of pure scheduling, this was the busiest day of the event so far, as it featured five tournaments on the schedule.

The poker.pro live coverage team focused mostly on Day 1b of the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5 event. This was expected to be one of the softer flights, considering it was scheduled to commence at noon on a Wednesday. That being said, there were some thrilling moments, and all contestants seemed to have a good time. Then again, how can you not enjoy yourself playing some PLO4/5 at the Beer Poker Tour?

Late registration closed around 16:30. The flight attracted 22 entries, which meant that £2,774 was collected towards the prize pool. In comparison, Tuesday’s 1a flight scored 25 entries, which culminated in £3,153. Three players from Day 1b secured their Day 2 participation.

The last starting-day flight of the tournament, Day 1d, is scheduled to start tomorrow, September 4, at 12:00. This is a turbo flight with 15-minute levels, instead of the 30-minute long ones we’ve grown accustomed to during these two days.

The poker.pro PLO4/5 wasn’t the only exciting thing during today, however, as it was also the first flight of the £185 Main Event. The tournament kicked off at 18:30, and when it concluded, nine players had secured their Day 2 advancements. The poker.pro live coverage team will return with more in-depth numbers from the first Main Event flight.

That’s a wrap for tonight, and the live coverage will commence tomorrow around 17:30, when Day 2 of the poker.pro PLO starts.

  • We’ll Return Later with Chip Counts

The poker.pro live coverage has officially concluded for the day. As soon as Day 1c of the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5 is finished, the chip counts will be shared here on the blog. That is also the case with Day 1a of the £185 Main Event.

Tomorrow’s live coverage will focus on the thrilling conclusion of the poker.pro PLO4/5, which kicks off at 17:30. That being said, expect some content here and there from 14:00 and forward tomorrow; both in the form of blog posts , but also video reels on our YouTube channel.

Mr. X made the call, before Wang announced “pot” for 24,600. Everyone folded except for Parker, who made the call, leaving himself with 6,800 behind.

Parker committed his last chips on the QK6 flop. As expected, Wang made the call.

    James Parker: K101098
    Gang Wang: AAK92

Wang was ahead with a pair of aces, and as he improved to a set on the 4A runout, he sent Parker to the rail.

The poker.pro reporter joined the action when the flop read Q27 with roughly 40,000 in the middle. Gang Wang and “Mr. X” both checked to Michael Dunleavy, who moved all in for 28,000. After utilizing a timebank-chip, Wang made the call, and so did Mr. X.

Wang then bet 45,000 on the 3 turn, enough to make Mr. X fold. As such, Wang and Dunleavy turned over their hole cards.

    Michael Dunleavy: QQK9J
    Gang Wang: JA774

Dunleavy was ahead with a set of queens, and wang didn’t improve on the 8 river. “Nice hand,” he graciously saluted Dunleavy.

Cards are in the air for Day 1b of the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5. From the get-go, six players are in the mix.

The chip counts from the poker.pro PLO4/5 Day 1b and 1c will be shared as soon as possible, as is the case with today’s Main Event flight. The results from the already finished side events will soon be published under the “Results” tab (the “Results” tab will be updated continuously throughout the week).

  • Main Event, poker.pro PLO4/5, and Beer on Today’s Schedule

Rise and shine, London! Welcome to Day 3 of the Beer Poker Tour. It’s destined to be yet another sublime day at Genting Casino Stratford during what has to be one of the most enjoyable live poker events in the whole world.

In terms of live coverage, poker.pro will provide updates from Day 1b and 1c of the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5, but Day 1a of the £185 Main Event will also receive its fair share of attention.

Day 1a of the poker.pro PLO4/5 was played yesterday; out of the total 25 entries, four players bagged their chips for Day 2, and £3,153 was collected to the prize pool. Out of the four survivors, Jacques Arama was the one who managed to bag the biggest stack.

The Main Event has its first flight today, and it’s expected to be an entertaining affair. The tournament will kick off at 18:30; late registration will be open during the first 12 levels (each level will be 30 minutes long).

Today’s live coverage will kick off in the afternoon, and the whole poker.pro team is beyond excited for yet another day of kicks and thrills.

  • Jacques Arama Bags the Biggest in First £150 poker.pro PLO4/5 Flight

It was around 13:30 when poker host Glenn Brown picked up the poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén at Gatwick airport today, September 2. After a splendid luncheon, they got back in the car and drove off to Genting Casino Stratford, London. The duo was excited, steering the ship towards the Beer Poker Tour.

This particular edition of the Beer Poker Tour started yesterday, September 1, with the €130 Happy Hour NLH. It was a cozy start to what definitely is one of the most fun and relaxing live poker events in the world.

However, the poker.pro live coverage would start today, on Tuesday. The whole team at poker.pro are thrilled to have the self-branded event that is the €150 poker.pro PLO4/5 on the Beer Poker Tour scheduled, and Tuesday’s schedule featured the first out of four starting-day flights.

The turnout was expected to be somewhat on the lighter side, considering the tournament commenced at 17:30 on a weekday. Nevertheless, when late registration closed after the first eight 30-minute levels, 25 entries had been made in the tournament, meaning €3,153 had been contributed to the prize pool. Sam Acheampong and JJ Hazan were two of the more familiar names in the mix, but neither was alive when late registration closed. Instead, they decided to late-register for the €130 Happy Hour NLH PKO.

    William Mawer

For all starting-day flights of the poker.pro PLO4/5, 13 % of the field will move on to Day 2 (and by doing so, be in the money). Considering Day 1a scored 25 entries, four lucky contestants would eventually advance. Play went on, and not too long after midnight, “Mr. X” was eliminated in fifth place, which meant the four following players all received a bag for Day 2.

It became evident during this day how much the players appreciate the relaxed yet exciting atmosphere that the Beer Poker Tour offers, and if the following days are anything like what we’ve experienced today, all visitors are in for a treat.

  • That’s a Wrap

    Level 12:4,000/8,000 (8,000)
    Entries:4/25
    Prizes:TBA

First to act, Anthony Roberts decided to limp from UTG. The table shortstack, “Mr. X,” then moved all in for 28,000 after relieving a heavy sigh. Jacques Arama made the call from the Button. Then, there was a delay in the game; the dealer got the impression that Arama and Roberts were urging the other players to call, and then check it down. The floor arrived to the table, cleared out any misunderstandings, and play proceeded.

Mr. X rose from his chair as the dealer revealed the 9KQ flop. Arama check-called a 8,000 bet from Roberts, which brought the 7 turn. The pattern was once again check-bet-call, and Mr. X again sighed heavily. Action went check-check on the A river.

    Mr. X: A2J62
    Anthony Roberts: A6645
    Jacques Arama: KK1049

Mr. X’s gut feeling was right; he became the unfortunate bubble boy, as the remaining four players bagged their chips.

    Jacques Arama: 499,000
    Anthony Roberts: 363,000
    Mr. X: 0

Ljubisa Nedimovic won the £150 poker.pro £150 PLO4/5/6 during the most recent Beer Poker Tour, which was played in June

The Beer Poker Tour is the live poker tour that puts the player in focus, emphazising on not only having fun at the poker tables. During tournament breaks and/or between sessions, players can enjoy free food and drinks, play entertaining, intriguing games, and much more. The Beer Poker Tour trophies are also unique, something that enhances the experience even further.

This “September Edition” of the Beer Poker Tour is the fourth-ever event. The first one was held back in November 2024, when Jonathan Condron won the €120 Main Event, which was a one-day event.

With that the Beer Poker Tour was born, and it’s growing bigger and better by every event. The next event was the first one on Brittish ground, as Genting Casino Stratford (formerly known as Aspers) hosted the second edition at the end of February this year.

The relationship between Genting Casino Stratford and the Beer Poker Tour is a fruitful one; counting this ongoing event, three out of the four events have all been hosted at this beautiful venue. The two masterminds behind the tour – Merivan Hassan and Guillaume Diaz – are going to great lengths to create the live poker experience of a life time for all players. They’re thinking outside the box, and no doubt, the Beer Poker Tour will continue to expand.

Ben Jordan opened to 5,000 from UTG+1. Seated on the Button, Jacques Arama announced pot to 20,000. The players in the Blinds folded, before Jordan made the call.

Jordan checked the K4K flop, before Arama forced his opponent all in for 27,000. Jordan made the call.

    Jacques Arama: AA6610
    Ben Jordan: K8JJ7

Jordan was ahead, and on the course for a full double-up. “Come on,” he sighed as the dealer turned over the A on the turn. He stood up and turned his back to the table, preparing for his exit, but as the table shouted “whoah,” he turned around. The poker Gods had awarded Jordan with the K on the river, and after winning the pot with quads, he’s very much still in the mix.

With live coverage, side events, and plenty of social vibes at Genting Casino Stratford, this stop promises to be the most exciting Beer Poker Tour to date.

  • The Beer Poker Tour Returns to Genting Casino Stratford

The Beer Poker Tour is back at Genting Casino Stratford for its fourth edition, promising a perfect mix of grassroots poker, party vibes, and added value for players. Headlined by a £185 Main Event with seven starting flights and a £100K guarantee, plus the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5, the festival offers plenty of low-stakes action, satellites, and unique prizes—including €1,500 Battle of Malta packages. With free beers, player parties, and beer-shaped trophies on top, this stop is set to be one of the most fun poker events of 2025.

  • Throwback: Dan Spataru and Ljubiša Nedimovič Crowned Champions in June Edition

Back in the June edition of the Beer Poker Tour, two new champions etched their names into the series’ history books. London-based online pro Dan Spataru took down the £185 Double Mystery Bounty Main Event for £11,800, plus a haul of mystery prizes that included the £5,000 top bounty. Meanwhile, in the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5/6, Slovenia’s Ljubiša Nedimovič stormed back from short stack to victory, claiming the beer mug trophy and £6,290.

  • Big Pot to Mr. X

    Level 5:500/1,000 (1,000)
    Entries:59/68
    Prizes:TBA

Seated UTG, Vivien Ma opened to 2,500. Seated right next to her, Xiaohe Tan moved all in for 15,800. “Mr. X” cold-called from the Button, and Ma also joined the funn.

Ma checked the K64 flop, before Mr. X moved all in for 37,400. Ma contemplated for a minute or two, before deciding to let her hand go.

    Xiaohe Tan: 77
    Mr. X: AK

Mr. X was ahead, and Tan received no additional help as the board completed with Q4.

    Mr. X: 112,000
    Vivien Ma: 67,000
    Xiaohe Tan: 0

  • A Mysterious Encounter

    Level 4:400/800 (800)
    Entries:54/58
    Prizes:TBA

Seated UTG, “Mr. X” opened to 2,000. “Mr. Y”, seated in the Big Blind, was the sole caller.

Mr. Y check-called a 2,000 continuation bet from Mr. X on the A8Q flop. Action repeated itself on the 2 turn, the only difference being that Mr. X now sized up to 3,000.

It was Mr. Y who led out for 4,000 on the 5 river. Mr. X sighed heavily before making the call.

    Mr. Y: A3
    Mr. X: 88

When Mr. Y turned over his hand, Mr. X initially thought he lost the pot to a straight. He apoligized for the un-intentional slowroll before collecting his newly-won chips.

    Mr. X: 72,000
    Mr. Y: 25,000

  • Three-way Showdown

    Level 4:400/800 (800)
    Entries:54/58
    Prizes:TBA

“Mr. X” opened limped UTG. David Gough (UTG+1), Rostyslav Mzghov (Hi-jack), and Arvid Vermaut (Small Blind) all followed the trend, before Gary Dallison checked in the Big Blind.

Action was checked to Mzghov, who bet 1,000 on the 5KA flop. Mr. X and David Gough both made the call. All three players checked the 4 turn. It was Mr. X who led out for 1,200 on the 8 river, and both of his combatants made the call.

Mzghov turned over K9 for a pair of kings; that wasn’t enough as Gough revealed his A2 kicker. Mr. X mucked his cards and the pot belonged to Gough.

    Rostyslav Mzghov: 94,000
    Arvid Vermaut: 35,000
