Lots of Beers and Cheers During Day 3
Day 3 of the 2025 Beer Poker Tour (September Edition) has come to an end. In terms of pure scheduling, this was the busiest day of the event so far, as it featured five tournaments on the schedule.
The poker.pro live coverage team focused mostly on Day 1b of the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5 event. This was expected to be one of the softer flights, considering it was scheduled to commence at noon on a Wednesday. That being said, there were some thrilling moments, and all contestants seemed to have a good time. Then again, how can you not enjoy yourself playing some PLO4/5 at the Beer Poker Tour?
Late registration closed around 16:30. The flight attracted 22 entries, which meant that £2,774 was collected towards the prize pool. In comparison, Tuesday’s 1a flight scored 25 entries, which culminated in £3,153. Three players from Day 1b secured their Day 2 participation.

£150 poker.pro PLO4/5 – Day 1c Chip Counts
Position Player Chips 1 Michael Ritter 591,000 2 Nicu Oleinic 527,000 3 Garry Bush 32,000 The last starting-day flight of the tournament, Day 1d, is scheduled to start tomorrow, September 4, at 12:00. This is a turbo flight with 15-minute levels, instead of the 30-minute long ones we’ve grown accustomed to during these two days.
The poker.pro PLO4/5 wasn’t the only exciting thing during today, however, as it was also the first flight of the £185 Main Event. The tournament kicked off at 18:30, and when it concluded, nine players had secured their Day 2 advancements. The poker.pro live coverage team will return with more in-depth numbers from the first Main Event flight.
That’s a wrap for tonight, and the live coverage will commence tomorrow around 17:30, when Day 2 of the poker.pro PLO starts.

Day 1a of the poker.pro PLO4/5 was played yesterday; out of the total 25 entries, four players bagged their chips for Day 2, and £3,153 was collected to the prize pool. Out of the four survivors, Jacques Arama was the one who managed to bag the biggest stack.
The Main Event has its first flight today, and it’s expected to be an entertaining affair. The tournament will kick off at 18:30; late registration will be open during the first 12 levels (each level will be 30 minutes long).

Jacques Arama Bags the Biggest in First £150 poker.pro PLO4/5 Flight
It was around 13:30 when poker host Glenn Brown picked up the poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén at Gatwick airport today, September 2. After a splendid luncheon, they got back in the car and drove off to Genting Casino Stratford, London. The duo was excited, steering the ship towards the Beer Poker Tour.
This particular edition of the Beer Poker Tour started yesterday, September 1, with the €130 Happy Hour NLH. It was a cozy start to what definitely is one of the most fun and relaxing live poker events in the world.
However, the poker.pro live coverage would start today, on Tuesday. The whole team at poker.pro are thrilled to have the self-branded event that is the €150 poker.pro PLO4/5 on the Beer Poker Tour scheduled, and Tuesday’s schedule featured the first out of four starting-day flights.
The turnout was expected to be somewhat on the lighter side, considering the tournament commenced at 17:30 on a weekday. Nevertheless, when late registration closed after the first eight 30-minute levels, 25 entries had been made in the tournament, meaning €3,153 had been contributed to the prize pool. Sam Acheampong and JJ Hazan were two of the more familiar names in the mix, but neither was alive when late registration closed. Instead, they decided to late-register for the €130 Happy Hour NLH PKO.
William Mawer For all starting-day flights of the poker.pro PLO4/5, 13 % of the field will move on to Day 2 (and by doing so, be in the money). Considering Day 1a scored 25 entries, four lucky contestants would eventually advance. Play went on, and not too long after midnight, “Mr. X” was eliminated in fifth place, which meant the four following players all received a bag for Day 2.
£150 poker.pro PLO4/5 – Day 1a Chip Counts
Position Player Chips 1 Jacques Arama 499,000 2 Anthony Roberts 363,000 3 William Mawer 249,000 4 Masoud Etemadih 140,000 Tomorrow, poker.pro will cover Day 1b and 1c of the poker.pro PLO4/5, but also Day 1a of the £185 Main Event. The live coverage will kick off in the afternoon.
It became evident during this day how much the players appreciate the relaxed yet exciting atmosphere that the Beer Poker Tour offers, and if the following days are anything like what we’ve experienced today, all visitors are in for a treat.

That’s a Wrap
Level 12: 4,000/8,000 (8,000) Entries: 4/25 Prizes: TBA First to act, Anthony Roberts decided to limp from UTG. The table shortstack, “Mr. X,” then moved all in for 28,000 after relieving a heavy sigh. Jacques Arama made the call from the Button. Then, there was a delay in the game; the dealer got the impression that Arama and Roberts were urging the other players to call, and then check it down. The floor arrived to the table, cleared out any misunderstandings, and play proceeded.
Mr. X rose from his chair as the dealer revealed the 9♠K♥Q♦ flop. Arama check-called a 8,000 bet from Roberts, which brought the 7♣ turn. The pattern was once again check-bet-call, and Mr. X again sighed heavily. Action went check-check on the A♣ river.
Mr. X: A♥2♥J♦6♦2♦
Anthony Roberts: A♠6♠6♣4♣5♥
Jacques Arama: K♣K♦10♥4♥9♣Mr. X’s gut feeling was right; he became the unfortunate bubble boy, as the remaining four players bagged their chips.
Jacques Arama: 499,000
Anthony Roberts: 363,000

Beer Poker Tour – a Brief History
Ljubisa Nedimovic won the £150 poker.pro £150 PLO4/5/6 during the most recent Beer Poker Tour, which was played in June The Beer Poker Tour is the live poker tour that puts the player in focus, emphazising on not only having fun at the poker tables. During tournament breaks and/or between sessions, players can enjoy free food and drinks, play entertaining, intriguing games, and much more. The Beer Poker Tour trophies are also unique, something that enhances the experience even further.
This “September Edition” of the Beer Poker Tour is the fourth-ever event. The first one was held back in November 2024, when Jonathan Condron won the €120 Main Event, which was a one-day event.
With that the Beer Poker Tour was born, and it’s growing bigger and better by every event. The next event was the first one on Brittish ground, as Genting Casino Stratford (formerly known as Aspers) hosted the second edition at the end of February this year.
The relationship between Genting Casino Stratford and the Beer Poker Tour is a fruitful one; counting this ongoing event, three out of the four events have all been hosted at this beautiful venue. The two masterminds behind the tour – Merivan Hassan and Guillaume Diaz – are going to great lengths to create the live poker experience of a life time for all players. They’re thinking outside the box, and no doubt, the Beer Poker Tour will continue to expand.

Jordan checked the K♦4♥K♠ flop, before Arama forced his opponent all in for 27,000. Jordan made the call.
Jacques Arama: A♠A♥6♥6♠10♦
Ben Jordan: K♥8♥J♦J♣7♣Jordan was ahead, and on the course for a full double-up. “Come on,” he sighed as the dealer turned over the A♦ on the turn. He stood up and turned his back to the table, preparing for his exit, but as the table shouted “whoah,” he turned around. Level 4: 400/800 (800) Entries: 54/58 Prizes: TBA “Mr. X” opened limped UTG. David Gough (UTG+1), Rostyslav Mzghov (Hi-jack), and Arvid Vermaut (Small Blind) all followed the trend, before Gary Dallison checked in the Big Blind.
Action was checked to Mzghov, who bet 1,000 on the 5♥K♥A♦ flop. Mr. X and David Gough both made the call. All three players checked the 4♦ turn. It was Mr. X who led out for 1,200 on the 8♥ river, and both of his combatants made the call.
Mzghov turned over K♣9♦ for a pair of kings; that wasn’t enough as Gough revealed his A♣2♦ kicker. Mr. X mucked his cards and the pot belonged to Gough.
Rostyslav Mzghov: 94,000
Arvid Vermaut: 35,000 -
