Apolianskas Doubles Through Kacinskas

Matas Kacinskas Level 23: 10,000/20,000 (20,000) Entries: 8/179 Prizes: €85,025 Action folded to Matas Kacinskas, who moved all in, having both players in the Blinds covered. Valdemaras Apolianskas made the call for his tournament life from the Small Blind (280,000), and Kacinskas was about to receive some bad news.
Matas Kacinskas: Q♥J♥

Yesterday’s inaugural Main Event flight attracted 54 entries, and 19 of them made it through to tomorrow’s Day 2; it’s an educated guess Day 1b will score bigger numbers than yesterday’s flight.
The third starting-day flight of the Main Event, Day 1c, is scheduled to kick off at 19:00. It’s a turbo flight with 25-minute levels, compared to the 40 in Day 1b. In other news, the €200 NLH (16:00) and the €250 NLH Progressive Knockout (21:00) are fulfilling today’s schedule, offering all players some intriguing side action.

Saveikis Chip Lead Going Into €555 NLH Championship Final Table

Olympic Casino Lietuva Day 5 of the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker didn’t disappoint in terms of action. It may have been the fifth day of the festival, but it was the first day of poker.pro being on-site, live reporting from Olympic Casino Lithuania, the undisputed center of poker in Lithuania.
This glorious Wednesday featured four different affairs on the schedule, and as this journalist is writing this short summary, Day 1a of the €1,100 Main Event is still ongoing, as is the case with two other side events. What has been wrapped up for the day, though, is Day 2 of the €555 NLH Championship.
The tournament kicked off at 12:00, and those who had advanced from Day 1a or Day 1b were accompanied by some additional players (late registration was open during the first two levels of Day 2). When Level 15 eventually commenced, and the numbers were finalized, it was confirmed that 179 entries had created a €85,025 prize pool. Twenty players would all be guaranteed a €1,220 min-cash, but everyone had their eyes on the juicy €19,795 first-place payout, as well as the coveted trophy.

Rasmus Sihvonen With late registration closed, there were still some prominent names left in the field, for example, Vasilij Barna (winner of the €555 Main Event during the 2023 Vilnius Ace Breaker) and Rasmus Sihvonen (winner of the €555 Main Event during the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker). Eventually, Augustas Bareiša became the unfortunate bubble boy, even though being all in pre-flop with pocket nines against the five-four off-suit of Algirdas Saveikis.
It would be a tad ambitious to call it “The Ketchup Effect” once the bubble burst, but some players did, in fact, bust fairly swiftly. Amongst the early victims were Francisco Di Martini, who had started Day 2 as the chip leader. One player who refused to go out, though, was the aforementioned Sihvonen. From being slightly below average during the bigger part of the day, he displayed sublime patience throughout the day, doubling up here and there while his opponents were hitting the rail.
Sihvonen was also involved in the bubble hand; he knocked out Audrius Navickas in ninth place, shortly after Mathies Boesen was out in tenth. Sihvonen has earned him great presumptions for a deep run in the €555 NLH Championship with a top-three stack. That being said, Algirdas Saveikis will begin tomorrow’s final table as the clear chip leader.

Boesen And Navickas Both Out; That’s a Wrap

Rasmus Sihvonen Level 23: 10,000/20,000 (20,000) Entries: 8/179 Prizes: €85,025 Action folded all the way to Vilius Zabarauskas, who opened to 80,000 from the Small Blind. Mathies Boesen took a gander at his hole cards in the Big Blind before moving all in for 324,000. Zabarauskas made the call.
Vilius Zabarauskas: 4♠4♦
Mathies Boesen: 5♥5♦“Ah,” Zabarauskas sighed as he saw he was in rough shape. Boesen maintained his lead on the K♠2♦6♥ flop, and nothing changed on the A♣ turn. Brutal for Boesen, though, as the dealer revealed the 4♣ on the river.
As Boesen left the tournament area, there was another all-in and call situation at the other table. It was Audrius Navickas who had moved all in for 221,000 from the Small Blind, and he was snap-called by Rasmus Sihvonen in the Big Blind.
Audrius Navickas: A♥10♠
Rasmus Sihvonen: K♥K♠Navickas was trailing, and the 9♥6♠2♣ flop didn’t improve his hand. The nail in the coffin came on the turn, when Sihvonen improved to a set thanks to the K♦. The 4♥ river didn’t change anything, and as such, two players went out in the same orbit.
The remaining eight players bagged their chips, and that’s a wrap for Day 2. They will return to the final table tomorrow at 12:00 to pick up the fight for the €19,795 first-place prize and the coveted trophy.
That’s a wrap for the poker.pro live coverage for today, but stay tuned, as a small recap of today’s action soon will follow (including the final table chip counts and all results so far).

The Sihvonen Survival

Rasmus Sihvonen Level 22: 10,000/15,000 (15,000) Entries: 11/179 Prizes: €85,025 Seated in the Cut-off, Rasmus Sihvonen opened to 30,000. When action came around to chip leader Matas Kacinskas in the Small Blind, he put in a big stack of green 25,000 chips, adding up to a 400,000 raise. Soon enough, action was back to Sihvonen, who made the call for his tournament life.
Matas Kacinskas: K♠Q♠
Rasmus Sihvonen: A♣Q♦Sihvonen was ahead, but it’s an educated guess he wasn’t too comfortable on the J♠8♠7♦ flop. The Poker Gods were looking out for the Finn, though, and as the board completed with J♣8♣, he claimed the pot. “Too many outs,” Sihvonen joked with Kacinskas, who took it all with a smile.

Saveikis Sees Off Liepins

Level 22: 10,000/15,000 (15,000) Entries: 11/179 Prizes: €85,025 Juris Liepins moved all in for 82,000 from the Hi-jack. Chip leader Algirdas Saveikis re-shoved from the Button, successfully scaring the remaining players away before showdown.
Juris Liepins: Q♣10♥
Algirdas Saveikis: K♦Q♥“Argh,” Liepins uttered when he saw the nightmare scenario. He didn’t suck out on the 5♠8♦2♠7♠7♣ board, and he was eliminated in twelfth place for €1,650.
Algirdas Saveikis: 885,000

Chip & Charge From Sihvonen

Level 22: 10,000/15,000 (15,000) Entries: 12/179 Prizes: €85,025 UTG, Juris Liepins limped the 15,000. Audrius Navickas made the call from the Small Blind, before Rasmus Sihvonen moved all in for 139,000 from the Big Blind. After receiving the count, Liepins made the call, while Navickas decided to get out of the way.
Rasmus Sihvonen: A♥2♥
Juris Liepins: K♠10♠Sihvonen was a slight favorite, and he managed to hold as the board spelled out 8♦9♦8♠Q♣3♠. He doubled up through Liepins and is now a force to be reckoned with.
Rasmus Sihvonen: 253,000
Juris Liepins: 170,000 -
Russits Out as Saveikis Hits Seven Digits

Level 21: 6,000/12,000 (12,000) Entries: 14/179 Prizes: €85,025 Action folded to the chip leader Algirdas Saveikis, who opened to 24,000 on the Button. Stanislavs Russits (Small Blind) and Mindaugas Autukevičius (Big Blind) both made the call.
First to act on the 5♥8♣9♥ flop, Russits wasted little time before moving all in for 110,000. Autukevičius folded before Saveikis made the call.
Stanislavs Russits: J♠8♠
Algirdas Saveikis: K♥9♣Saveikis was in the lead, and as Russits’ hand didn’t improve on the 4♥A♥ runout, he was eliminated in fifteenth place for €1,460.
Algirdas Saveikis: 1,200,000

Big One for Daubaris

Level 21: 6,000/12,000 (12,000) Entries: 18/179 Prizes: €85,025 It’s now the third 15-minute break of the day; the remaining 18 players will soon resume play at Level 21, featuring Blinds 6,000/12,000 and a 12,000 Ante.
Right before the break, one of the biggest pots of the tournament played out on Table 3. Algirdas Šukys attempted to limp from the Small Blind, but Deividas Daubaris wouldn’t allow it. He raised from the Big Blind to 30,000, only to be faced with a three-bet to 75,000 from Šukys. Daubaris made the call, and there was already a big one brewing.
Šukys continued on the aggressive path with a 55,000 continuation bet on the J♠J♦Q♥ flop, and Daubaris made the call. Šukys then check-called a shy 25,000 bet from Daubaris on the 8♣ turn. The dealer turned over the 8♣ river, and after a swift check from Šukys, Daubaris moved all in for 99,000. Šukys sighed heavily before making the call.
Deividas Daubaris: K♣K♦
Algirdas Šukys: Q♦7♣The Cowboys saw Daubaris taking home the massive pot, soaring to second place in the chip counts.
Deividas Daubaris: 500,000

Bareiša Out in Twenty-first; the Bubble has Burst

Level 20: 5,000/10,000 (10,000) Entries: 20/179 Prizes: €85,025 Perhaps 30 minutes into hand-by-hand play on the bubble, Algirdas Saveikis opened to 23,000 from the Button. The shortest stack in the tournament, Augustas Bareiša, then moved all in for 15,000 from the Small Blind. Mindaugas Autukevičius folded his Big Blind swiftly, and soon enough, the two contestants went to showdown.
Augustas Bareiša: 9♠9♥
Algirdas Saveikis: 5♥4♠Bareiša was in very good shape to double up his two Big Blind-stack, as the other players gathered around the table to witness the exciting runout. The audience let out a collective “Ooh,” as the dealer revealed the 7♥7♦8♥ flop. They followed it up with a “Whoah,” as the 6♦ fell on the turn. Bareiša was still alive, drawing to a higher straight or a full house, but the 6♠ didn’t see him seal the deal. As such, Bareiša became the unfortunate bubble boy, and the remaining 20 players are now all guaranteed a €1,220 min-cash.
Algirdas Saveikis: 505,000
Augustas Bareiša: 0 -
Unfortunate One for Možeiko

Level 19: 4,000/8,000 (8,000) Entries: 22/179 Prizes: €85,025 This reporter saw from a distance a big pot brewing over at Table 2. It turned out to be an all-in pre-flop clash between Tomas Možeiko and Audrius Navickas, with Možeiko being the player at risk.
Tomas Možeiko: A♥J♦
Audrius Navickas: Q♣J♣Možeiko was looking good for a double-up, and the 6♠8♥6♣ board wasn’t too threatening. Poker can be a brutal game at times, though; Navickas improved to a runner-runner flush as the board completed with 7♣3♣, and a disappointed Možeiko went out in twenty-third place.
Audrius Navickas: 330,000
Tomas Možeiko: 0 -
Saveikis Sees Off Aglinskas

Level 19: 4,000/8,000 (8,000) Entries: 23/179 Prizes: €85,025 Seated UTG, Algirdas Saveikis clicked it to 16,000. Rolandas Aglinskas (Big Blind) was the sole caller.
The short-stacked Aglinskas checked the 8♠10♣4♥ flop, and Saveikis then forced his opponent all in for a mere 19,000. After some consideration, Aglinskas decided he didn’t believe Saveikis and made the call.
Algirdas Saveikis: A♦8♥
Rolandas Aglinskas: 3♠3♥Aglinskas’ gut feeling wasn’t right this time, and he didn’t take over the lead as the board completed with 7♠K♠. Aglinskas bid farewell in twenty-fourth place; he was the first player for quite some time to hit the rail.
Algirdas Saveikis: 440,000
Rolandas Aglinskas: 0 -
Di Martini’s On the Offense

Francesco Di Martini Level 18: 3,000/6,000 (6,000) Entries: 24/179 Prizes: TBA Seated in the Hi-jack, Augustas Bareiša min-raised to 12,000. Chip leader Francesco De Martini decided to defend his Big Blind.
De Martini checked the J♥4♣3♥ flop. Bareiša continued for 8,000, and as fast as humanly possible, De Martini put in a raise to 20,000. Bareiša made the call almost as swiftly.
Somewhat anticlimactic when action went check-check on the 5♥ turn. On the J♦ river, De Martini sized up to 30,000, and Bareiša called within two seconds.
Perhaps somewhat to Bareiša’s surprise, De Martini turned over K♥10♥ for a flush, and he took valuable chips out of the Bareiša stack.
Francesco De Martini: 470,000
Augustas Bareiša: 58,000 -
Temperature’s Rising

Level 18: 3,000/6,000 (6,000) Entries: 24/179 Prizes: TBA As the bubble approaches at a rapid pace, all pots are becoming increasingly crucial.
Seated on the Hi-jack, Mathias Boesen opened to 12,000, and Matas Kacinskas decided to call from the Big Blind. First to act, Kacinskas checked the 3♣8♣6♠ flop. Boesen continued for 9,000, only to be faced with a 32,000 raise from Kacinskas. Boesen made the call within 10 seconds.
Kacinskas continued the aggressive path and fired a 40,000 bet on the 2♥ turn. Boesen made the call again, and the dealer revealed the J♠ on the river. After a minute’s worth of consideration, Kacinskas committed roughly three-quarters of his stack to a 115,000 bet. Boesen let his hand go relatively quickly, and Kacinskas looked relieved as he raked in the chips.

Level 16: 2,000/4,000 (4,000) Entries: 31/179 Prizes: TBA Ignas Navickas min-raised to 8,000 from the Lo-jack. Action folded to Egidijus Matonis, who decided to move all in for 51,500. Action was now on Janis Velkeris, who contemplated his decision from the Big Blind. Eventually, he re-shoved, and Navickas decided to get out of the way.
Egidijus Matonis: 8♥8♣
Janis Velkeris: A♠A♣Velkeris had picked up the goods and was already way ahead, but, just for good measure, he improved to trips on the A♥6♥9♠ flop. As the board completed with 9♣K♦, Velderis and his Full House sent Egidijus Matonis to the rail.

Velkeris checked the 9♠K♦5♦ flop, and Možeiko put out a 6,500 continuation bet. Velkeris then moved all in for 22,000, and Možeiko believed he got a good price to make the call.
Janis Velkeris: K♣5♣

Here Comes Sihvonen

Rasmus Sihvonen Level 15: 1,500/3,000 (3,000) Entries: 38/179 Prizes: TBA The 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker €555 Main Event winner, Rasmus Sihvonen, has been off to a good start this festival. He won the €250 NLH Opening event for €5,560, and yesterday, he finished second in the €250 NLH for an additional €2,205. Now, he’s one of the 38 players remaining in the €555 NLH Championship.
This poker.pro reporter strolled by Sihvonen’s table when the board read 4♠9♦6♥ with 21,000 in the middle. Small Blind player Jaunius Maževičius checked it to Sihvonen in the Big Blind, and the Finn also knocked on the table. Maževičius checked again on the A♥ turn, and then, he called a 11,000 bet from Sihvonen.
The dealer revealed the Q♠ on the river, and Maževičius completed the check trifecta. Sihvonen then bet 12,000, only to be forced all in from Maževičius for what looked to be roughly 60,000. Without hesitation, Sihvonen made the call.
Jaunius Maževičius: Q♣9♣
Rasmus Sihvonen: A♠Q♥Two-pair against two-pair was not what Maževičius hoped for. He survived with crumbs as Sihvonen doubled up, earning himself great presumptions for yet another deep run during the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker.
Rasmus Sihvonen: 183,000
Jaunius Maževičius: 8,000 -
Pirn Doubles Up

Level 15: 1,500/3,000 (3,000) Entries: 45/179 Prizes: TBA Estonian Mati Pirn opened to 6,500 from the Hi-jack. Egidijus Oleinik (Big Blind) was the sole caller.
Oleinik check-called a 11,000 bet from Pirn on the 8♣2♥9♥ flop. After another check from Oleinik on the 2♦ turn, Pirn moved all in for 22,000. This sent Oleinik to the tank, and he spent a minute there before making the call, having Pirn covered.
Mati Pirn: 10♣10♥
Egidijus Oleinik: 8♦4♦Oleinik’s gut feeling wasn’t right this time, and he was drawing very slim to eliminate Pirn. The 7♦ didn’t change anything, and Pirn doubled up.
Mati Pirn: 81,500
Egidijus Oleinik: 36,500 -
