Seated in the Hi-jack, Natan Turner attempted to raise to 2,400. “Attempted” because it was a string bet, and therefore deemed just a call. Perhaps, this was the reason that Kevin Remeile (Button), Wanhan Lee (Small Blind), and Joseph Houghton (Big Blind) all decided to see a flop.

Action was checked to Remeile on the 82J flop, who bet 4,500. Wanhan Lee folded, and while the decision was on Houghton, Turner called out of turn. The dealer explained that his action would stand unless Houghton raised. That is what happened: Houghton made it 15,000, which allowed Turner to get out of the way. He did just that, whilst Kevin Remeile decided to force his opponent all in for 59,000. Houghton made the call.

Kevin Remeile: J8
Joseph Houghton: J2

An unfortunate scenario for Houghton. Both players improved to a full house on the 6J runout, but it was Houghton who waved the white flag.

Kevin Remeile: 118,000
Joseph Houghton: 0
