Final Shot at a Mega Bag; Roque Leads 1a Stacks

Date:Day 1b: Aug 13, Noon
Blinds:40 Minutes
Starting Stack:30k
Late Entry:12 Levels (Entries Close About 9:30 PM)
Day 1 Ends:10% of the Field; Players Must Bag Chips to Get Paid
Entries:139
Prizes:$66,025

The first flight to the Megastack Day 2 has landed, and Julius Roque, who won the 1Day Deepstack on Sunday, led the way with more than 600k. Matt Gudmundson, who was 3rd in the 1Day, was the only other player above half a million.

139 entries came out on Day 1a, which means there is already more than $66k waiting from the 1a entries. Day 1b will be a redo of Day 1a, but my guess is it will see more than 200 entries before 9:30.

if the game hits 200, prizes would be more than $160k. Last July, the game got 410 entries total for almost $195k, and 1b this year only needs 271 entries to hit that mark.

The game starts at noon, and players get 30k to play. Blinds are 40 minutes, with 12 levels of open entry. Day 1a played just into Level 18, with the bags coming out around 1 AM after a lightning-fast, single-hand bubble. Bubble action starts at 10% of the field plus 1, with bags for the top 10%.
