With 7,000 in the middle on a completed board of K♦6♠3♥2♦7♦, Alan Hadden had fired out a bet of 6,500 from under the gun, and was met with a raise to 32,500 from Stephen Docherty in middle position.
Hadden, with 7,700 behind, was in the blender contemplating the decision, and talking himself through the hand.
After about two minutes Docherty asked “You have a king?”, and some more chatter ensued between the pair, to the point where Docherty admitted he had it.
Another 90 seconds went by before another player called the clock, and as the floor came over, Hadden folded.
Docherty showed 5♦4♣ for the straight.
