Starting Stack:40k

Day 1 Ends:15 Levels, or 10% of the Field; Players Must Bag Chips to Cash; Some Day 2 Players May Not Get Paid

The opening flight to the Main Event is set to run at noon on Friday. Players get 40k to start, and Day 1 levels last for 40 minutes.

Entries are open for 12 levels on Day 1, putting the end of entries at about 9:30 PM. After that, they play until 10% of the field, or the end of Level 15, whichever comes first. Note that is different from previous multi-flight games in this series, which bagged at 10% no matter how long it took. This change means that some players who make Day 2 of the Main may not get paid, depending on how deep each flight plays.

This Spring, Jamie Martin and Osbert Liu chopped the top two prizes in the Main over a field of 315 entries for prizes of $403,988. Last Summer, Chase Bonertz took down the Main Event over 329 entries for the top prize from the $421,943 total. His fiancée railed Bonertz to the end, with the proceeds from the game helping to make their coming wedding that much better.
