Mantas Bagocius of Lithuania has emerged as the last player standing from a 94-runner field in the OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Autumn 2026 €555 NLH Championship, banking a €13,115 payday after defeating Davis Modans of Latvia heads-up.
Bagocius adds another OlyBet title to his Kings of Vilnius Main Event win in November 2025, supplementing an already stellar online record. He secured his first WSOP ring last year by winning the WSOP Online Super Circuit $215 Mystery Millions for a huge $411,850 score, and also lifted the coveted PokerStars Sunday Million title back in 2015 for $168,883.
Bagocius registered at the last possible moment on Day 2 and immediately began accumulating chips, to the point that he held a substantial lead over the field by the time the final table began.
His final opponents included 2026 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Main Event champion Jurgis Beinoras, two‑time WSOP Circuit ring winner Eriks Krumins, and an in‑form Egidijus Matonis, fresh off a fifth‑place finish at the recent WSOP Circuit Tallinn Main Event. None, however, could halt Bagocius’ march to the title.
A deal was discussed three‑handed between Bagocius, Matonis and Modans, with Bagocius the relative short stack, but no agreement was reached. When play resumed, Bagocius appeared reenergized and quickly built momentum, eliminating Matonis after flopping a full house, while his opponent was drawing dead with a wrap draw.
That gave Bagocius an almost 4:1 lead entering heads‑up play. Modans battled valiantly in pursuit of a home‑soil victory, but Bagocius would not be denied. After showing a big bluff to leave Modans reeling, the Lithuanian sealed the deal when he got it in good and rivered an unnecessary nut flush.

Winner’s Reaction
Bagocius was delighted to be standing with the trophy, and reflected “I mean live poker is another scene compared with online poker, I’d really love to translate my online success to live and I think I’m on way to do that, but the goal is always to go higher.
The final table was tough, some really good players from the Baltics, so it was a very competitive final table. It was a real rollercoaster ride. I lost the chip lead five-handed, but I won some crucial spots and things were going my way. When you run good you start playing good, you find the necessary bluffs, you find the folds when you have to, it’s easier to play when you run good, so that’s the secret of winning poker tournaments!”
On the deal discussions, Bagocius commented “I had the short stack but it was close, and I wanted an even chop. They didn’t agree and I wasn’t happy with the ICM numbers so we decided to play on, and it went my way, so yes very happy.”
Bagocius still had plenty of appetite for action, and was already holding a ticket for the €250 PLO4/5 Progressive Bounty side event, and went on the hunt for a second trophy of the day.
Final Day Recap
A total of 75 entries were gained across the two starting flights, with 22 players qualifying for Day 2, and they were led by Lithuanian Tomas Bulksas, pursued by Latvian duo Gatis Reigass and Krumins.
They were joined by 19 Day 2 entrants, increasing the prize pool to €44,650. By the time late registration closed, 26 players remained in contention for 11 paid places, with Modans and Bulksas at the top of the counts.
Beinoras coolered Matonis, who bounced straight back to double through Modans, before Girts Niedritis claimed the knockouts of Mathias Christensen and Roberts Krigers to bring on the bubble. Start-of-day chip leader Bulksas was the unfortunate player to leave empty-handed, crashing out via a brutal queens versus aces cooler against Lasse Melby.
From there, Bagocius began his charge, eliminating Patriks Svinka and Hendrik Uibo to set the final table. The Uibo bust-out was particularly cruel, with Uibo flopping a set when all-in against Bagocius’ top pair, only for the champion to go runner-runner to make broadway.
Bagocius entered the final table with a substantial lead over Niedritis, with Matonis, Modans and Melby tightly grouped behind. He secured the first knockout by dispatching short-stack Tomas Dalidonis, who was quickly followed out the door by Finn Jari Mahonen.
Matonis made a set against the eventual champion to inflict damage, before he surged into the chip lead at the third break, where seven players remained in contention.
On the resumption, Bagocius sent Niedritis and Krumins to the payout desk when he held while comfortably ahead, before Melby’s run ended after he ran into the made hand of Matonis. Beinoras fell in fourth, becoming the sixth player to be eliminated by Bagocius, after the Lithuanian hero-called a river bluff on an ace-paired board.
The final trio paused for deal discussions, with the stacks almost even, but Modans slightly ahead and Bagocius bringing up the rear. No agreement was reached, with Bagocius’ proposal of an equal chop rejected, and the winner unhappy with the ICM figures.
Bagocius quickly retook the lead, and then eliminated Matonis when his foe jammed the turn while drawing dead, giving Bagocius a commanding advantage over Modans heads-up.
Despite the Latvian’s best efforts, Bagocius could not be stopped, and he sealed the deal in relatively quick fashion.
