Action went check-check-check on the 6♦Q♦8♣ flop. McSorley and Hardman both checked the 7♠, which was foreplay to a 20,000 bet from Smith. McSorley then raised to 45,000; Hardman got out of the way before Smith made the call.
McSorley fired 65,000 on the J♦ river, and Smith didn’t take too long before making the call.
“He has got it,” a somewhat surprised Smith said as McSorley tabled his K♦2♦ holdings. Smith flashed his 9♦9♣ holdings while McSorley stacked his chips.
