Emmanuel Mulemwa, who final tabled the £500 Main Event during the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Sheffield, opened to 5,000 from UTG+1. Jack Hoyle three-bet to 15,000 from the Hi-jack, and was then faced with a 57,000 four-bet from Mulemwa. Hoyle five-bet shoved for 96,000, and Mulemwa made the call.

It was a classic coin flip confrontation. Hoyle maintained his lead on the 6♣3♣5♣ flop, and on the 7♣ turn, the only thing Mulemwa could do was pray for a chop with a straight flush. The 6♥ brought no such kind of scenario, and Hoyle doubled up.
