Lucas Poleszczuk opened to 6,000 from the Hi-jack, and Paul Newman made the call from the Small Blind.

Newman check-called 5,000 from Poleszczuk on the JA4 flop. Both players checked the Q turn, and Newman then bet 6,000 on the 5 river. Fast and deliberate, Poleszczuk put out a 26,000 raise. After a minute’s worth of consideration, Newman made the call.

Poleszczuk tabled Q4 for two-pair, and a somewhat surprised Newman threw his cards into the muck. The very next hand, he was eliminated after open-shoving A7 and running into the pocket aces of Chris Allen.

Lucas Poleszczuk: 277,000
Paul Newman: 0
