The Friday side game is likely to see a lot of fast action, with lightening-fast blinds at 15 minutes per level. Players get 50k to start for this combination of deepstack poker with hyper-fast blinds.
The action kicks off at 6 PM, and players have a bit more than three hours to buy in or reenter. The registration desk closes at the start of Level 12, which should be around 9:15 PM tonight. After that, it will be a race to the finish for this one-day game. I expect this to be a fairly quick game, as the hyper-fast blinds tend to mean that players in the money are rarely playing more than 15 big blinds on average.
In the opening series of 2026, David Cox was the winner of this one. He made it through a field of 89 entries for the biggest share of $25,365 in prizes. He took down the title heads up over Keith Stick after about 8 hours of play.
