Ala Zhu limped in from the small blind, and Ali Razzaq checked his option in the big. They both checked it through the ]pcn]3h9s9cJc[/pcn] flop and turn before Zhu fired 65k on the 3 river.

Razzaq immediately shoved the big stack, putting Zhu to a decision for his tournament life. “I was slow playing this,” he said, considering the spot.

“So was I,” Razzaq replied with a smile. With the board double-paired and Zhu muttering that he had a jack, he finally mucked his hand after about a minute in the tank. Razzaq showed a single card, 4, which didn’t give much info. Mike Malm, who is on break from the side game and was railing the hand, joked, “Pocket fours was good Ali, you didn’t have to show.”
