Csaba Kovacs told this poker.pro live reporter about a big hand that played out a few minutes ago at Table 14.
Wing Ko opened to 5,000 UTG by putting out a 5,000 chip. Angela Rogan (Cut-off) wasn’t aware of the action and put out the same chip, announcing, “Raise”. As such, she was forced to do a minimum raise to 7,500. Seated right next to her on the Button, Csaba Kovacs made it 20,500. Rogan was the sole caller.
First to act, Rogan checked the J♥5♦8♦ flop. Kovacs bet 21,000, and Rogan then completed a check-raise move to 55,000. Kovacs proceeded by moving all in for 150,000, having Rogan just covered. Rogan made the call.

Kovacs was in rough shape. It wasn’t much consolation for him that Deniz Orhan confessed to folding J♣J♠ in the Small Blind. Still, though, miracles can happen. The J♦ river saw Kovacs improving to a better two-pair, and with the K♠ river, he sent Rogan to the rail, while he now is one of the bigger stacks.
